Hi Carlos, nice threat! Lots of great ideas. Here are mine: 1. The knife I would adopt for a special run would be the Chinook as I like its profile and the ideas behind the design. As it is though I think it is too thick and too heavy, so: 2a. I would like to see a Chinook with a no more than 2,5 cm...

Hello,

Nice contest.

I subscribe to Blade and Tactical Knives and buy the German language Messer Magazine and the French Excalibur when I find them.

Temperance in Europe?

Sal & Spyderco, I have been looking forward to the Temperance since I saw the fist pictures some two years ago. This is a knife that has almost everything I like in a folder: it's just small enough for office carry (I think), has a flat ground quality steel blade, a hand filling handle and a new...

Hi Chambers, I do not remember seeing the Police in Fight club. Have to pay more attention next time! I do remember the Police staring in the movie High Art/Exposure. Great movie and great knife! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Spyderco in the movie Payback

I recently saw the movie Payback again and I was wondering about the knife Mel Gibson used to cut the bad guys fuel lines. Is it a Spyderco Rookie or is it the Worker model, or perhaps another one all together? What do you think? Great movie by the way. :-)

My vote goes to the ss Police it is, to me, a classical beauty with lots of carracter! Especialy in plain edge format. Modern art at its finest.

This is the first time I have reported this happening. I think the second spring broke about two months after the first one went. Getting a BM fixed when you live in Europe is an expensive business so I didn't want to send it back after the first spring broke, after the second one I had little choic...

Below are some of my thoughts concerning locks. 1. Lockbacks In general I think lockbacks are best for the lower end production knives (below+/- $75). A good lockback is dependable and strong but on many you can push the blade slightly upwards into the locking bar. This does not compromise functiona...

I like the quality and innovation off Spyderco knives. My EDC is a Starmate. So I would love to see a Spyderco balisong. For me it should have a blade shorter than 9cm to be legal. I would also appreciate steel or alluminium handles for a affordable price. It should be a user not just a collectors p...

Check out this link http://www.tool-shop.com for a good European knife shop. Those prices are more realistic if, like me, you live in the Netherlands. They have fast service. Those prices are retail though.

The Native, looks good but does not fit my hand. So i made it into a test knife and gave it a convex edge. Now it is realy sharp but I still don't like the handle. Tip: try the handle before you buy.
