Re: Manix 2 in Maxamet: What I think about it so far
The Manix 2 blade definitely feels longer in practical use but a knife with the same handle but full blade length, no finger choil, would be great. I find I can do what I need but prefer 3.25” - 3.75 of cutting edge with no choil. I love the CBBL lock and unfortunately Spyderco isn’t giving us many ...

Re: Kapara Salt
I would buy one.
The Kapara should get Sprints and Exclusives just like the Manix and PMs. It is a wonderful knife. I would buy almost any Sprint or exclusive that came out.

It been suggested before but we need a Salt Manix so if it’s going to be SE let’s make LC200

Re: questions about ball bearing locks?
The CBBL is my favorite lock. In my opinion the tension from the ball and spring is just perfect for opening and closing. It has some good self close. It definitely won't come open accidentally but is easy enough to open with any method. The CBBL has one of the smoothest and most consistent actions ...

Re: 2020 hopes and dreams
More CBBL designs. Specifically a 3 1/2 to 4 inch, edge to handle, no Choil knife with a caged ball bearing lock. LC 200 Mannix? Really I would be happy with any new design sporting the CBBL. Come on Spyderco look at all the compression locks and back locks, why no love for the cage ball bearing lock?

Re: Manix 2 rex45 g10 model
The rat race turns me off so badly. I want one of these but I literally don’t even have the chance to get one. I can’t check the forums every 5 minutes despite wanting to. They come and they go....immediately. I’m tiring of this. Rather than checking the forums constantly I would suggest going to a...

Re: Spyderco Siren Release Date?
TazKristi, thanks for the update! It helps to know where we stand *today*, with the understanding that even that can change. :)
The communication is appreciated. Looking forward to more "Reveals" and the evolution of the process.

Re: Spyderco Siren Release Date?
Great points mrtodd777 which is precisely why I think there is a problem with the process. I know Spyderco is trying to be more timely with the Reveal concept which meant that the knives they reveal should ship within a few months of the reveal. It just still doesn't seem to be working. IMHO If the ...

Re: Spyderco Siren Release Date?
I did not mean to muddy the waters mentioning the collectors club. The bottom line is this knife is way past due from Reveal 3. I understand the desire to not release something until it’s ready but some communication would be nice since based on the Reveal concept/schedule it should have been delive...

Re: Spyderco Siren Release Date?
Hey, I more am aiming this question at Lance and Sal. I'm pretty patient, so it's not about me becoming impatient with waiting I am a pretty patient guy but this knife is well past the expected ship date based on how the reveals are suppose to work. It sure would be nice to have some kind of update...

Re: Opinions Wanted: Top 5 Best Spydercos
All Manix 2: I specifically love my KC Carbon Fiber CRU-Wear Kapara: It was designed for food prep and excels at it. Perfect size, love the design Delica: It was my intro to Spyderco and to me the quintessential Spyderco model to own. Gayle Bradley 2: Amazing slicer, love the size. Lock-up on mine h...

Re: Mule Team
Anything is possible. But there must be enough demand so we don't lose our shirts creating the Piece. sal Sal, Would it make sense to do a pre order window of 1-3 months? Then produce what was paid for in a given time frame. This would keep you from “losing your shirt”. What is the minimum number t...

Sounds like a good idea. CBBL would work for me too.
