Folder in Season One finale?

Does anyone know the folder used by Jonas in the Season One finale? It first showed when he was cutting out a newspaper article and then when stabbing a bad guy at the party. The first showing had a pretty good look, the second showing was likely fleeting.

Scouting popcorn

It's twenty years later and I still inwardly cringe at the thought of selling that **** popcorn. Anyway, a POS knife that I won from selling popcorn for Boy Scouts, coupled with the fact that I'm in Boy Scouts (Be Prepared) was what started me EDC'ing; but the thing that stuck in my mind to make me ...

Last time I used my E4 in a resturant on the food the waitress just looked and smiled. It is not uncommon for me it use it on the kids straws, as they are usually too long and end up tipping over and spilling mid-drink. I haven't had a comment or even a look yet. Why didn't this ever occur to me? I...

I have no work experience in law enforcement or corrections but those COs must be really stupid. Knowing that they are violating both the law and work policy and still doing it anyway?

The big one: You trusted a convict!? I'm certain that the prisoners are the ones giving all the evidence.

An old knife found in a box

This was found among my grandfather's old things. A beat up knife likely used for hunting. My father guesses the knife was acquired about 1948. I assume it is either a run-of-the-mill commercial knife or military surplus. Overall length is 11". Blade length is 6 1/8" and sharpened edge is ...

That is just freaking insane. Good luck on your cousin getting the conviction expunged/reversed/whatever.

There was an online shop that had the ATR at a clearance price of about $65. Wish I had the dough on hand to buy one.

I would say that, under the circumstances, the course of action he took was probably the best. There's no "one size fits all" answer for something like that. There are just too many variables. Age, size, physical condition, mental state, armament, and prior training (or lack thereof) of t...

Laguiole knives, how do they lock? Do they lock?

I was looking at the AG Russell used knife website and saw this . I searched this board and saw that the Ramco knives are desirable but even the Laguiole websites don't explain the mechanism of the dang knife. Does the blade lock open? Is there spring tension to keep the blade open? Does the blade h...

dedguy, I'd guess you've never visited the forum of a certain other knife company that starts with an "S". Tankman's initial response, rude as it was, was "extremely diplomatic" compared with some of those given by said company's owner. And, from what I understand, said owner (w...

I'll have to try and look around the next time I'm in the nearest large town. Aside from the usual blister pack Winchester and no-name knives at the hardware stores there are no stores around here that sell knives.

At that price range I figured the knives would be covered in plastic packaging. Maybe I'll just order the Crossbill and see if I like the blade shape.

Retail availability of Byrd knives?

Are their any retail chains that carry Byrd knives? I'd like to take a look at the different models to decide on what I might like to get.
