I'm preparing to make a pair of carbon fiber scales for my MT02 and need help locating some parts.

--Does anyone know where to get 3/8 pinstock in stainless or nickle? TKS and KnifeKits don't carry it. Thanks in advance for any help. -Michael

It's 1/4 inch G-10. Here is the link: http://www.knifekits.com/vcom/product_info.php?cPath=40_218_314&products_id=1644 The lighter color didn't come out so much because I just used wax then oil for the final finish. I tried "polishing" with the dremel but it started pitting the G-10 s...

Slice......I'm glad you're ok bro. I hate car accidents...I lost my best friend to one earlier this year. What were you driving if you don't mind me asking? I've been in my fair share of accidents, but have been accident free since 2001....not counting the Hummer I wrecked in Iraq!!!

I've had no problems at all with my SERE 2000 #113/200.....mine's rock solid, and I love it. It may be a production problem. I can't say from experience because I don't own a production model. If you really like the SERE 2000, I would suggest searching around for a pre-production or a very early pro...

I have a Blur Tanto model 1670TBLKST that I like very much. It came wicked sharp from the factory, and the assisted opening action is strong and locks up great, and the grip from the inserts in the scales is phenominal. The Sandvic steel blade is very serviceable, and takes one **** of a convex edge...

Nice snag bro!! I just got a Millie C36GBK in S30V earlier tonight on eBay. I thought I had it locked at $85....I was the only bidder for 5 days, then some last minute jerk tried to snipe it from me with 30secs to go. As luck would have it, I was at the PC watching. Well, I had to lay the smack down...
