Today I've got the Spydiechef and the Cutlery Shoppe exclusive Manix 2 lightweight in S90V.

I'm not sure if it's a sign of an imminent drop but Blade HQ has their pre-order live instead of just saying out of stock. Fingers crossed!

I'm going to have to go with the Resilience too. It's a big honkin' knife that would make a gun guy very happy. And it's around $50.

I got a cheap folder from Harbor Freight to practice on. It's half serrated but none of my quality knives are. It's nice to practice with it though.

Edit: the steel is 8cr13mov. Easy to dull, easy to sharpen.

I have knives from several brands but I almost exclusively carry Spyderco. It's not brand loyalty (although I am very loyal to Spyderco) as much as being the right tool for my needs. I've yet to find another knife that fits my hands, my needs and my philosophy of use better than a Spydie.

While I agree with you, that's pretty close to MSRP for these knives so it's not too crazy.

I think new camo styles would be interesting. Perhaps more than one. A digital, one similar to what you're recommending and a white "snow" camo would be sweet IMO.

Yes, like all the new ones released in the last couple of years. Including the base S30V version.
