Re: Delica HAP40/SUS410 DLC with red G10 Exclusive

I am wondering if their current stock is all that were made or if this is just the first shipment? Does Spyderco have a very minimum required for an exclusive? I am pretty sure that I saw the River's Edge recent para 3 exclusive only had 500 made.

I gotta admit, this morning when I first saw it I thought it was ugly but the more I look at it the more I am liking it. I better stop looking at it :-)

How did you get 2 of the gift cards?

Used the wife’s account. I tried checking out as a guest first but it wouldn’t allow me to do that.

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places

It looks like the code "primo" is also working today at Unitedoutdoors ebay store but doesn't seem to work anywhere else. It takes off 20%. I am picking up a set of 302's and a couple of 8" DMT's.

Re: Your favorite Spyderco for fidgeting?

It's a tight race between the Silverax and PM2. If the compression lock on the Silverax was as smooth as on my PM2's then it would definitely be the Silverax.

Re: Para 3 exclusive at River's Edge Cutlery

Intriguing! I wonder what the steel choice is. This is probably part of the long line of dealer exclusives of the para 3 to come. What do we have confirmed so far? the M390 bbs, BHQ M4, Rivers Edge, and ...? I am pretty sure I saw that Cutlery Shoppe is planning an orange one as well but they didn'...

I'm in.

As for hero's, I would have to say my dad is my hero. He is a selfless person that is always to quick to go above an beyond to help others. From a young age he taught me the importance of work ethic and honesty. I would not be the person I am today without those early life lessons.

...The only downside is that it arrived at the same time as my new sage 5 - which I am loving way more than I thought I would. In many ways the Sage 5 is my favorite Spyderco and my preferred EDC You guys don't find the Taichung compression locks to be much stiffer than the Golden ones? I had a Sag...

I’ve disassembled and reassembled mine a few times, not paying attention to the bearing orientation... it has never made a difference in my experience.
Enjoy the knife,

When reassembling, is there a right way and wrong way for the bearings to be installed? Both sides look the same to me.

Re: No love for the Lil Native?

I just received my Lil' Native and I really like it. I prefer it over my DF2 because of G10, comp lock, and the blade shape. For me, it is a much closer race between the Lil' Native vs Chap. The Chap is definitely classier but the Lil' Native is definitely more fun. I can't wait for some Lil' Native...
