Re: Questionable tag lines & shiny footprints

i spoke to sal & eric for a few minutes at this past shot in january. both are the real deal. you folks who know them or have met them in the past know this already. eric takes this to another level. get him going on spyderco knives past and present and you can see the flame ignite in his eyes. ...

i snagged one as well. i do appreciate the heads up on this. oddly, i got it for 103 and change. after checkout, i went back to the sale page and it was back to 104.17. don't know what they're doing there but i like!!

Like going into a Toyota dealership and announcing that the Honda dealer across the street has better prices
:o guilty! ;)

but yes, i thought it went without saying....steals and deals on spydercos exclusivly, but errors in judgement happen sometime. :)

Re: Argh!!!! Photobucket!!!!

This is gonna have widespread effects on the forums and the internet. Stickies and FAQs all over the net are gonna be useless, or at least be devoid of pics. Many blogs will also see an issue here. I remember what happened when anglefire tanked and how frustrating all the dead end internet searches...

Re: Delica 4 vs. The World! Ch. 1: The Beginning

To each his own. I prefer frn over the g10-great traction and it keeps the handle slim, like the back lock. Anothe great plus-for me-is that the D4 doesnt have a #&% choil.I really, truly, hate choils with a passion :D yes, they are super knives, the d4. i've had a delica in my pocket since '05 an...

Re: Do I really need anyything more than VG10, S30V, or H1?

really interesting thread and something i agonize with all the time. my knife use is very light compared to most on the site, opening/cutting boxes, opening mail and food prep are pretty much it. i own several spyderco blades but only 3 are daily drivers...a vg-10 delica, s30v para 3 and a h1 ladybu...

Re: Delica 4 vs. The World! Ch. 1: The Beginning

I've said it numerous times before and I'll say it again: the Delica is the best folder there is. No other knife came even close to the D4 for urban edc,and i dont talk only production knives.Even high end customs are left in the dust... i can agree with both statements. always tried to keep a deli...

Re: Best ways to gain horsepower and torque?

straight pipe, or did you do that already with the high flow install. did a speed shop do the performance tune or did you buy the plug 'n play? i'm curious as to what your truck dyno'd at with that 4.6 and your mods to date. did you get a baseline before the mods?

late to the game on this thread me too! i recently had a funny experience at my local tavern. i used my delica to slice open the top of a bag of cheez it crackers (to our worldwide members who don't know what a "cheez it" is, it's a delightful cheese flavored cracker that works well with ...

oh yeah, i'd send it in. recently, i agonized over sending a new knife in fearing they would think my concern was frivolous. guess not, they replaced the knife. send it.

but they want "eBay prices"
yeah, see that a lot in the northeast too at shows. honestly, there are only 2 knife vendors i'll buy from if i see something "interesting" at a show, i know their reputations are solid and they know their stuff. the others, well not so much.

Re: Spydies at Gun Shows Question

i've never seen discounted spydercos from legit dealers at any local shows i go to. the prices in my area are pretty much the same as online vendors but the advantage is you get to pick up the knives to get a feel for them before you buy. i stay away from the vendor who has head turning low prices. ...

para 3 black blade, digi camo. jeez, they released it the day i ordered my regular production one, lol. it just looks cool and that's the only reason i "need" it. patience my mother always said, but i jumped the gun.

i now use exclusively new graham or knife center. prices are all pretty much the same and these guys are on the east coast so if i get my order in early enough shipping is the same day and i may get my stuff the next day, but no more than 2 days. i go with established dealers now to eliminate the fa...

nice looking knife. my buddy carries a kershaw chive, pretty close to the same size kinda. personally, i think the manbug is a better product for those that want to carry a smaller blade.
