Isn't it a copper-containing antiseize that Glock uses? Don't think Spyderco does that but then again I'm new at this so I could be wrong. I've got a similar discoloration on an old nickel-plated razor that won't come off, but gets lighter with Flitz polish. I'd guess it's either something else depo...

Good call getting a Briggs. We had an old one with a 14hp Briggs and it lasted forever. 1987 to 2006 or whenever I ripped it off to repurpose it. Got a newer model with a Kohler engine and that was the worst experience I ever had. Two carbs and a blown head gasket later ended up getting another with...

Would like to get into the Mule project
Hey again all, Another thought's been floating around in my head for a while now. I'd like to break into the Mule project, seems like a great idea as described on Spyderco's website and from the praise I've seen in all the forums. My only problem (and I saw this mentioned in another search on here) ...

We'll see how it plays out once I get it and put it to daily use. The way I read the warranty it looks like I'll void it by disassembling to modify it. So for now, I'll see how things do naturally. Of course, once it gets nice and broken in, I wouldn't mind a modification here and there :) Thanks fo...

CPM-M4 patina on tang
New member, first post on here! I'm awaiting delivery of a CPM-M4 bladed Manix 2 and to pass the time, I've been reading anything I can get my hands on about the steel. I've been reading about the patina and how some people prefer to coat their blades in products such as Militec-1 and Tuf-Glide (I'v...
