Re: Which Dragonfly?
The serrated H1 Dragonfly.....is the correct choice. This is the way.

Re: Manbug Leaf
You know what, I'm starting to agree with you. I've been asking for a clipped Manbug for a while now and finally modded a Manbug Salt on my own by adding a Dragonfly wire clip. After carrying it for a day I can already tell that I won't keep the clip on it. Maybe it's because I'm so used to the Drag...

Re: A question for Mr Glesser and Spyderco (Clipped Manbug)
Yea I was worried about that. But, the Manbug and the Dragonfly are the exact same thickness and I sunk the clip into the FRN to the same depth so it's holding well. The lanyard hole is bigger than the clip hole on the D'fly, but as long as the screw is tight I don't see a problem. I'll probably tak...

Re: A question for Mr Glesser and Spyderco (Clipped Manbug)
Well, I got impatient. I have a Manbug salt arriving tomorrow and I'm going to try and mod the Dragonfly clip to fit it. This is purely experimental and I'm likely to mess something up but oh well. I think I'm going to try and figure out the best spot for the clip using the lanyard hole and then hea...

Re: Sal, Can You Remind Us Of The Ladybug's Origins?
I love hearing the history of how and why certain designs came into being as well! A history sticky would be awesome. Sal, would you share a little more about the Dragonfly design? It’s most interesting to me especially now knowing that you were asked to design something in between a delica and the ...

Re: Salt Knives Only!
It's shocking how easily this serrated H1 sharpens. I was doing it with a little Lanksy triangle sharpener thing for a while, but the Sharpmaker makes it silly quick to sharpen this thing. Sal For President! But, but, but, it can't be true. Serrated knives are SO hard to sharpen. :winking-tongue

Re: Salt Knives Only!
Yessir! That's where I find myself. I try and convince myself that a plain edge would be good to have as well, but then I take 22 seconds to sharpen my SE on the Sharpmaker and all of the sudden I don't see where a plain edge will do something that I'm not getting right now. This is the way. https:/...

Re: Salt Knives Only!
Agreed! That's one thing that I really like about H1 as far as more modern steels go. I always love the look of a good patina but never liked the idea of having to wipe down or "take care" of my pocket knife. So the scratching on the H1 (which happens very easily) along with dying the yell...

I'd love to see that happen as long as they aren't pinned pivots.....oh and if they have wire clips.

Re: Grail/Dream Spyderco EDC
I'm a relatively simple guy and appreciate what is currently being offered. The one thing I'd like to see is the Dragonflies wire clip for the ladybug and manbug. I KNOW I KNOW...folks don't want those little knives messed with, but the clip can always be taken OFF. I'm a Dragonfly guy but have alwa...

Re: Salt Knives Only!
84296D88-FB3A-4031-B304-08F3BC0EF240.jpeg I occasionally buy new knives to try out, mainly out of boredom, but this serrated salt dragonfly is the only knife that I need. He’s been dyed, dremeled, dropped, soaked, neglected, abused, sold, and bought back!🤪 A small, inconspicuous, basically maintena...

Serrated Salt D’fly all day everyday. When I find that it’s gone missing I start checking my pants and there it is.
