Re: Is this the knife everyone clamors for?

https://i.postimg.cc/pXLrvjXJ/IMG-6506.jpg I enjoy mine as much as the day I opened the box , changed clip and put in my pocket . Feel the same with my original C95 . MG2 You have good taste, obviously. It beats me how some people bashed it because the blade was thicker, but then jumped on the Sham...

Is this the knife everyone clamors for?

Is this the knife everyone really wants? Here me out. People decried it because it had such a thick blade and other complaints. However, when one looks at the specs, it has the same blade thickness, and close to the same specs as other well loved knives and none of their detriments. https://i.postim...

https://i.postimg.cc/TP0Prh02/Shannons-Balkan-Blend.jpg A great shave. Nice 😎 Thanks! It really is a superb razor. The soap is really good, too. It is Shannon's Chupacabra base Balkan Blend, which is a blend of pipe tobacco scents. The brush came from APShaveCo. It has a 28mm G5C knot (hair). It do...

Re: How Shelac is made

I don't know if it is durable enough for a knife handle that would get used. It isn't like lacquer or polyurethane. Still, it would look really good. I know! But it's so "old school" that it's hard to resist. Most of my wood projects are finished in natural finishes: linseed oil, tung oil...

Re: How Shelac is made

Thanks. That video has been in my YouTube suggestions, but I didn't watch it until just now. I like the Business Insider videos. Shellac intrigues me, but I've not used it on anything since I was a little kid. How do you think it would work out on wood scales for my next Mule? I don't know if it is...

How Shelac is made

Here is a good video that shows how shelac is made and how it gets its name.

Wonderful Delica in my favorite color G10 that Spyderco has done. There is a matching Dragonfly still in production.

Re: Chaparral

The Chaparral is the best small pocket knife Spyderco makes. The handle is a little thin compared to the height, but that can be fixed by a new set of scales if it bugs anyone. Sweet knife. I would like to see a steel change to SPY27.

Re: Native Scout?

If they moved that finger spike to the end of the scales and had the cutting edge come nearly to the scales I could be happy with a back lock version. It could be my one knife...but the Manix 2 back lock with linerless G10 is already in that spot.

Re: Sal, a handle forward Lil Native?

One advantage this idea would have is a cutting edge as long as the Chaparral. The Chaparral is really hard to beat, I know. I have two and wonderful knives they are. The LN would benefit and still keep the blade legal in most places, though. Doc, just to be sure: Your idea would mean indeed, that,...

You are the Monday of my life.

If I had a dollar for every smart thing you say I'd be on Welfare.

I would challenge you to a battle of wits, but I see you are unarmed.

Re: Family friendly jokes

A young executive was leaving the office late one evening when he found the CEO standing in front of a shredder with a piece of paper in his hand. “Listen,” said the CEO. “This is a very sensitive and important document here, and my secretary has gone for the night. Can you make this thing work for ...

Re: Roadie: Tell Me About This Knife

I have two or three. They are my go to package opening knives. The point doesn't allow the blade to go too deep into the package. It is overly thick for such a small knife, but I like the shape and the pinch opening. It cuts okay, but not as good as a Ladybug or a Manbug or a Jester.

Re: New Discoveries found in 8Cr13MoV testing

So, how would the edge angle affect the results? Say, 30º inclusive vs 20º inclusive? What was the angle of the edge being tested and how thin behind the edge was the blade?
