i love my zdp caly3. wire clip, carbon fiber, it is indeed scary sharp out of the box.

i love the performance of my krein'd zdp delica. but thats not necessarily a far comparison to a spyderco factory flat ground delica.

ZDP delica. Use it everday at work. Currently in pieces because i wanted to fully take it apart to clean it (was getting a bit gritty) but 2 of the 4 torx were stripped, luckily i got them out. So now it sits in pieces waiting for my parts kit to come in and then be re-assembled and lubed. Using a F...

i like the look of the DLC coating but i think the satin blade cuts smoother. as it has less friction when it is cutting through something.

I have a few coated blades but i've had my fix of them and prefer the satin.

I did swap the lock bars as well mainly because i already had them apart and did hear about the suggestion of keeping the lock bar with its native blade. although it seems unlikely that they would make the lockbar out of an expensive steel such as zdp or s30v or s90 etc etc. but i did switch since i...

Had me nervous since i placed my order

I dont need anymore Delicas (9)....BUUUUUT I'm kind of a sucker for orange. and ive been spoiled with a krein'd zdp delica as my daily cutter and its a beast only needs a touch up every once in a while...and cuts oh so well. So I ended up ordering an orange flat ground delica along with a flat groun...

I REALLY want to pick this one up (dont have a PARA2 yet and would love an orange one) but as i live in NJ I'm a little leery about carrying anything over 3 inches for legal purposes as i'm concerned it will be considered excessive.

i use photobucket. i dont particularly like their new interface though. but it does give you easy access to all the different URL codes and whatnot for posting on forums, or thumbnailed links.

and i'm pretty sure their free service has decent storage and bandwith.

I prefer G10 from a performance standpoint. i find it the easiest to grip although it does tend to do a number on my pant pockets.
