I think it the new era of Lightweight versions, a GB1 LW would be amazing.

The only reason I don't carry my GB1 more, is that it is around 5 ounces. Send it to Taichung, slim it down, nest the liners in some FRN and call it good.

Looking at the photos again, I noticed that there is a solid area in the frn pattern where the lock pivot is, BUT no apparent pin or screw on either side. I sure hope there is an internal steel pin in there!

I'm hoping it's built like a Salt 2 with thin blade stock, entirely linerless, or if it's compression lock, like the Para 3 LW. I've had one since they came out and actually appreciated the burliness of it, but I think it deserves a major weight loss treatment.

My personal order:
Taichung > Seki City > Golden.

They all feel great and durable, but I like a little texture. Golden feels like the stiffest and most smooth.

No. I don't believe any of those would work. The Salt 2 is a linerless knife and the delica has liners.

I have some variation in the detent of the 3 I have. One quite stiff, one like butter, one almost rattly.

I have always kinda liked the imperfections, but you've all done a nice spa job on the Rock Jumper!
