Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
E3 BK CE in VG-10. Had it for at least ten, maybe 12 years. Hated it for the first couple of years I owned it, but I've warmed up to it, although I'll never buy CE again...it's black coating is scarred up pretty good, but it pairs well with my 6P that's just as scratched and scarred that sports an i...

Looks normal to me, I've got a few of those models. Probably just the picture.SpyderEdgeForever wrote:Am I imagining things or is the butt end of the handle of that Endura extra larger than other ones, or is it just the angle of the picture?

Nice custom...well done for something that probably wouldn't have been used as much due to the damage.

I guess it comes down to a choice of whether 20 or so dollars extra for the real deal is favorable to a fake and/or chance of, as well as the hassle that said fugazi comes with....

Looks like an E2, and if its AUS-6, that's some pretty serious corrosion considering that steel stood up to corrosion quite well. At least in my experience...

Re: Small fixed blades: it's all about the sheath
Spyderco has been and always will be my number one knife brand, but I've been using Esee for my fixed blade options in the last year. Some complain about their sheaths being cheap, but they work well, and are comfortable. The smaller models are totally pocketable. I carry a 3 on my belt in uniform, ...

Re: Military for edc
Even if I lived in a jurisdiction where carrying past a certain length was prohibited, I would still take my chances. Its like rolling the dice on a dui....act out of sorts and your going to get burned. Now there's always the possibility of a random stop. In this case , hope you can explain it away....

Waste band carry mine all the time, and have left it in water for more tban 24 hours...probably gets more exposure to rust producing substances than any of my other knives, and all I usually get is rust that just wipes right off. Usually comes off with finger pressure

I recently got my hands on a super blue delica and can't wait to get rid of it. Do you mean you do not like it? If yes, what are some of the downsides you do not like? Got it used from a buddy who had two and who is pretty much a Delica aficionado. He loves the latest and highest performing, and I ...
