Re: Any love for combo edges?
I just haven't felt a need for more plain edge than most "full" SE come with at the tip. The Autonomy 1 for example has about 5/8 inch plain edge at the tip and it does pretty much everything I've needed a PE for. I wouldn't be opposed to a true combo edge but it needs to be on a longer e...

Re: Spyderco filet knife?
I assure you guys the edge hasn't been touched. Its simply a bad photo. Here's a better photo. I don't know why im defending this Gem, but here you go. Its absolutely black FRN and has a factory edge. Is it just too unbelievable that I got a good deal on it? https://i.postimg.cc/Hxq6PYWq/IMG-5540.j...

Re: MT37P - AEB-L Mule Team Dropping Soon
It took longer for me to load the Forum page then it did to buy a Mule today. 1 only, saving and dreaming it goes this easy for the BBB 15V drop.
Thanks Team.

Re: Somebody tell Seki City to knock down the edge of the Spydie Hole
Dag, I do not want to team up, but... if the part where one is meant to put their thumb onto to open a knife cuts the person when opening, it is worth complaining about and worth sending back, IMHO. I think it would help the production side to see objective examples of reasonable complaints. Also, i...

Re: If John Wick carried a spydie?
I would like to see a super functional forearm rig holding at least one Spydie Thrower. He certainly has proven himself capable of using throwers. The scene would go..... The sword guys are slashing the Wick team apart. The bullet proof suits don't stop blades. John Wick blocks a sword with his fore...

All Mules should have a Serrated
I'm not the first to say it.
This is the only way I am really keen to see Spyderco modify the Mule platform. A PE and SE of each future Mule release would be fantastic. Also, releasing serrated versions of past steels would be... "add superlative."

Re: Shaman 15V, Bad QC
I am North as well and can not afford the risk for a luxury item that does not make it home. Nice in a way that I am not invested emotionally or any other way than wanting the OP to come back and highlight the QC issue. The first thing I noticed was a line above the Spyder running tip to hole on the...

Re: The Mule Thumb Ramp
Hey everyone! I also really dislike the thumb ramp in use, so I figured I should share what I did to fix one of my Magnacut Mules... Nice work on the ramp, Attila. Kind of shocking to see a black mule. Well done. Thanks! I apologize, but I‘m not sure what you find shocking. Did you mean “blank,” as...

Re: MuleTeam Forum knife?
What about a Mule Team scale set? That way you could keep the scales on each mule as you rotated through testing them. A set of Forum Mule Team scales is a really good way to approach this. Probably easier than getting a spot in the production line too. I know it is too literal, but I like the humo...

Re: glove compartment knife?
Am I the only one with gloves in the glove box?
My kids are old enough to snoop through the van, and young enough to hurt themselves if they found a knife in the glove box.
Edc for me.

Re: POLL: Shape of "Standard Mule" MT28P2
I like the look of the Standard Mule. Voted keep it the same only from a time and energy point of view and effort it will take to reshape this offering.
I have not bought one yet, but that was in no way to do with the shape.

Re: MT39P Logo Question
Maybe Spyderco could offer flint knapped knives. I'm guessing the spidey hole would be a challenge. I want to primitive hunt at some point before I'm too old to do it... I stunk it up first time I tried throwing a dart. If Spyderco did offer a flint knapped knife... Do you think BBB could do a high...

Re: MT28P2 - CPM SPY27 Mule Team Release!
It’s basically doing what most of us asked for I'd agree with this if I saw people asking for a straight spine, or for one in SPY27 regardless of the shape that also required a different sheath. In my mind, it makes complete sense to use the house steel(Spy27) in a regular production Mule. I don't ...

MT39P Logo Question
Will the MT39P include the BBB logo?
On top of winning the Mule dream lottery and getting one, I sure would like one with the BBB logo.
Please.

Re: Compression lock with bias to close?
+1 for bias to close. My Para 3 has a weak detent and the blade has popped open when dropped, oops. I can flick it closed but it will bounce off the detent and stay open if not done precisely. So, I slow roll.

Re: MT28P2 - CPM SPY27 Mule Team Release!
A standard production Mule is a good thing from where I am sitting. I snapped up a Spy 27 Para 3 when they first dropped, so I have had a good run with this steel. It will be difficult for me to buy this Mule vs waiting for the next Mule to come and it makes the waiting a little easier knowing the M...

Re: Forumites vs. Normals
In any community there is a certain sub section of people that are very motivated to learn and push their personal boundaries and the boundaries of the community. How does a triathlete gain fitness? Buys a lighter bike. Ultra light hikers, or the Ultra marathon community are a good example too, with...

Re: Who got my Mule?
I've been through a similar situation. Correct box mailed out, wrong contents. Ooops, it took a phone call and some politeness and everything came in as ordered. That and some time. No one likes waiting, except the Brits, I've heard they cue up really well. I hope your Mule comes in quick and you ca...
