Re: All I want for Christmas...

Smart info for my recent choice making process. I have a Mule in the mail and have been pondering scales. Most of my cutting is outdoors and hunting. I'm excited about glow in the dark scales as I have a couple nice orange handled hunters already. It seems to get scales made I will have to make them...

Finally arrived. Not sure what is worse, the time waiting in the mail or my camera skills. Cut it!

Re: Hello everyone!

Welcome! I'm still new to the forum. It is the only example I know, of a brand name company with a social media component and an owner who greets new members. Answers questions too. Its that sense of caring about the community that got me hooked. Ok, the edgy bits help too.

Re: MT27P - Mule Team Fixed Blade with Micro-Melt® PD#1

Hey standy99,

How did you come up with the glowing scales? Where can I find them? I'm a big fan of hunter orange G-10 as I like the visibility in the field. How long do they hold a glow for? Is that a silly question?

Thanks

Re: Mule Team MT28P CPM SPY27 Revealed!

I saw pd1 looking cool on YouTube. It must be true. That's how I know. I have a Waterway too, I only ever use it for fish. So when it comes to edge performance I really have no idea about lc200n. It cuts as good as my old no name fillet knife, but its rust proof and that is super cool. I heard a rum...

Re: Tenacious Lightweight does it for me

Tenacious G-10 is where I got my start. Never thought I needed another knife, until the money went to my head.

Used it today for feathering wood and making hot dog sticks for the team. I obviously need a Tenacious tee shirt with a big Spyderco logo on the back.

Thanks carrot

Re: Mule Team MT28P CPM SPY27 Revealed!

Given a magic lantern and 3 wishes, I would use one wish for a Mule Team pre-order. Spyderco could fill the pre-orders, and fill their boots. No broken dreams or empty stables. I do not think I am the only person that would like enough Mule Teams out there to dampen the collector aspect of the proje...

Re: What brings you more joy?

My joy comes from the thought that my collection will go to my 2 kids. It helps dissipate the financial energy of it all and makes me feel like I can get more that 100% out of a knife.

Re: Pleasant surprises from trying things we thought we didn't want

The thing I though I would never do.... buy a $200.00 knife. I was given a Tenacious when they first came out and thought a $70.00 knife was too nice for gutting and carving wood, so I stuck to my original Gerber Gator $30. One day, years later, I came around and started using the Tenacious and lovi...

Re: Which Spyderco would you be?

I would be the Utility Knife 6.5 black plain edge. Lots of potential but mostly stay in the drawer. Worst part is I would be a foreign knockoff, not to disparage any country that fakes Spyderco product. I just do not quite feel like a real Spyderco fan yet. That will change once I can fill the 4 poc...

I'm really partial to the Waterway and LC200N. It eats fish and poops salt, as advertised.

Hey Red. I'm new to the forum too. Not sure if you meant to start a New guy Topic... Anyway, I have been bitten by the Spyderco recently. A friend bought me a Tenacious when they first came out and I have never "needed" another knife since. Sure I have other knifes but they don't matter. I...
