Rostafrei.

But I wouldn't get it. Not big on fixed blades, and when I do, I don't prefer the trailing point design. I like low tips and subtle belly. No skinning for me.

What's the main difference which makes the harpy handle so much better for you? Sorry I ruffled your feathers, Im also sorry that you have to ask a groups opinion on something to make up your own mind. Btw we are talking about a knife you asked about and not tvs, computers & shoes, again sorry y...

I hate being the last post on a page, so: Thought I lost this guy for a couple months. Turns out I left him in the pocket of singe work pants that got folded and put away.... Taking this ridiculous thin edge out to work the next few days, sorry sb Delica. https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/320xq90/r/...

I doubt nutnfancy could beat anything down. He'd start talking about beating you down, then thirty minutes later he'd almost be through his intro to beating you down, and you will already have stepped out for a bite to eat.

Love the random, misplaced xenophobia against Chinese products.... Delica is Japanese, tenacious is Chinese, big deal. This thread is a disgrace. The Delica is far more a better knife compared to a chinese POS tenacious. It all boils down to price. You want nice pay the price. Posted from your Chine...

For a knife I would carry anywhere, Delica. For a knife I'd carry most places, tenacious could work. I've carried both extensively. The Delica has a perfect blade and tip, in ffg configuration, for my Edc uses. It is also much smaller in pocket, do I'm more likely to carry it anywhere. The tenacious...

G10 seems to be popular because it gives the illusion of added toughness over frn. Frn is probably the perfect material from a pure performance point of view, I can't imagine ever damaging it badly. But even I will admit I sometimes like the added heft of g10 construction, or better yet, my ti/g10 M...

I much prefer the appearance of the straight spine, and only subtle belly spyderco blades like the Delica, endura, and military. But I love just how **** efficient they are even more.

Considering I often need knives for a wide variety of tasks throughout my day, including food prep, dirty work, cardboard cutting, detail work, very hard cutting, light prying, etc.... ONE I generally find one knife is more than enough for all of that. The only difference is in if I need to do dirty...

As much as I like the choil as spyderco implements them, I have to agree that the sb Delica is amazing. There is something so simple and utilitarian in the design, yet has that hidden refinement and grace that puts it over the edge. It is hard to put into words, but I don't think there is a sub four...

I'll have to do some digging, haven't carried it since the sb Delica arrived. For two or three years before that it was literally my EVERY day carry. Camping, hiking, swimming, biking, working, dressing up, wrenching, etc... It currently looks a bit Rusty since I apparently forgot to wash it off aft...

I use all my knives hard if the need arises, though I am able to differentiate between hard and stupid, unlike some on bf and the like.

And in the past few years the most used and abused have been highly sought after sprints :)

Great advice. So many people get hung up on miracle oils and coatings and maintenance schedules, when keeping it clean and sharp is all it takes.

You should have zero problems with this steel, given even a modicum of sense about knife upkeep. Especially in dry Colorado. Let's put it this way, my main bike riding knife has super blue steel, which is way more prone to rust compared to cruwear. I'll go on a thirty mile ride, and when I get home ...

Without comparing it in person, that tip looks no more fragile than the tip on some of my old wharncliffe blades which have seen some heavy use. It should be one of those things where you note the likelihood of failure, remember that you're using a knife, and not try and shmooze a free knife out of ...

my knives rarely go long without getting dings, knicks, chips, or rolls on the edges. in my opinion this is like saying you bought a new car and one of the tires was ten pounds low on pressure, should you send it in or pump up the tire?

I carry my super blue Delica iwb most days at work. it is also iwb for bike rides and hikes. I have never oiled the blade or otherwise coated it or treated it with anti rust stuff, and I've never had an issue with corrosion.
