Love the zombie thing. Hard to beat original Night of Living Dead. Favorite book is probably Day by Day Armageddon.

Ditto. I'd like to be able to sharpen it using my preferred methods. Otherwise it is my current favorite of my fixed blades.

Sal -- here's a good article re: government / public support of manufacturing in America and China... http://prospect.org/cs/articles?article=once_made_in_the_usa Great article. We created job losses ourselves. No use blaming government. We, collectively, wanted more stuff for less money so we went...

I have a few Boye knives and also gave one as a gift to a guy who captains a large cabined cat for my in-laws in Hawaii. He also captains a charter fishing boat. He's used the knife for 6-7 years now and has had nothing but positive things to say about it. I'll ask him about edge retention. What mak...

There are so many explanations--the least likely of which is the most complicated--that an employee of UPS stole the box, removed it from facility, opened a box, used the knife, put the knife back into packaging, resealed the box, snuck it back into facility, put it back into the delivery stream. Th...

You know the category of "Little Big Knife"? Well, I'd categorize the the Native V as a "Medium Huge Knife" :D . This Native is "BUILT"!!! -raven- Yes, that about sums it up. Also, at least mine would pass scrutiny by NYPD, for those who travel to NYC. Blade length ide...

I have a Star safe bolted to closet floor and remove home defense pistol (CZ 75) nightly to bedside table. Because of so much practice with combo, I don't even have to think about it. Other guns are in a 700 lb. Remington Safe bolted to a concrete floor.

Thanks, Donut. 2cha, Anyone who feels safer in NYC right now has his head in the sand. Personally, I don't see anything like a zero-tolerance policy for petty crime...nor do I want to see one. Frankly, if someone wants to have a beer of smoke some weed and isn't causing a disturbance, let them. But...

It all started with Guiliani, and the people loved him for it. The voters in NYC are willing to trade liberty for security. NYC was unsafe, now, much of it feels much, much safer. My understanding is the safety or at least appearance of safety comes from a "zero tolerance" policy for petty...

Funny, I'm sure I bunch of the people signing onto the Bill are all about States' rights where it suits them, but are nonetheless quick to sign up for a stunt that eats further into the states' police powers. My guess is that even the current Supreme Court would also determine that such a law is unc...

The Super Leaf and Caly 3.5 are totally different knives. The SuperLeaf is significantly larger at about 4 3/4 inches closed and almost 8 inches open and weighing in it at 4.7 ounces, and with a very wide blade--making it heavier and wider than your military. The Caly 3.5 on the other hand, is very ...
