Re: Sal, question regarding the Salt line and LC200
Hi TBD, H2 requires hollow grinding. It is possible to make a Manbug or a Ladybug in LC, but I wouldn't want to make a Manbug with the original grind until I see the reaction on the newer leaf shape Manbug, which I prefer. Also a Ladybug would require a thinner blade stock and the odds of making en...

Sal, question regarding the Salt line and LC200
My question is since LC200 can apparently handle the FFG better than H1/H2, are there models that could possibly see an FFG added? Particularly the LBHB or Manbug? Tasman? I would be all over an FFG PE LBHB but also a Manbug with the original blade shape. Thanks for your time

https://i.ibb.co/bX8RRFd/PXL-20231231-132734630-NIGHT-3.jpg I LOVE Wild Turkey. Bonus points if you get my choice of knife to pose with this. I have been wanting to try their 101 rye for years but could never find it. Finally found it this winter, and it was worth the wait. I actually have been try...

Re: Mini Yojimbo Prototype ?
Where is the index finger supposed to locate, on a MicroJimbo? At point A or B? I'm sure you could do either, but for which location was the MicroJimbo designed? How does Mr. Janich hold it for its intended purpose, index forward (A) or index back (B)? Dear Bolster: For my purposes, typically B. If...

Re: Janky grind on K390 Delica Wharncliffe
My last LBHB H1 has a terrible grind especially at the tip. I kept it because it’s a bathing suit knife but some of this should be caught by QC. That Wharn K390 D4 was not cheap either

Re: MicroJimbo?
I handled this today at my brick and mortar, definitely not a SD knife as the pinky doesn’t really fit well. And I have very medium hands. I like it, and may still grab one as an EDC but I don’t think the three finger grip lends to the slashing as the Yo2 does

I went way smaller. I detest scratching my cars with pocket clips so I have basically gone Dfly or Manbug with lanyard in the pocket

1. Never doubt JD when he wants a model rereleased 2. I think both the Superhawk and Superleaf sold poorly and were able to be had for huge discounts at the end 3. JD I need you to push Sal for a Lava redo, any change you see if is permitted That is a good point , I also think maybe the design was ...

Re: Grandpa's knifes
I have enjoyed reading the posts and please tolerate a beginner hoping not to embarrass myself. I want to get better at sharpening using and caring for my grandfathers knifes. My grandfather was a butcher in slaughterhouses in NYC. We were very close and he passed away when I was a young man in my ...
