My sample measure right at .02" behind the edge. Thinner than most stock spydies.

It looks like the thumb ramp would work for the regular grip.
If you choke up, with your finger in the choil, can you put your thumb on the spine of the blade in front of the thumb ramp and jimping?
The superleaf is like that...

I ordered one even though I wasn't planning on it. I was perusing one of my favorite on-line retailers and saw it.
Before I knew it, I had paid for my order and received a confirmation email. Talk about impulse buying!

Does it still have the blue back-spacer?

The sheath as is fits perfectly with the knife. After all, it's a Phil Wilson collab, and Phil Wilson knives come with kydex. If only it was tan colored.

I carry and use mine quite often. I carry it in the watch pocket in my pants, or in a kydex neck sheath I made. There's a whole lotta blade in a little package with this knife. I broke a small part of the tip off of the PE blade on the one I carry. It is quite delicate, and could definitely be consi...

I'm just going by what I have in front of me. 10+ liner lock millies, and 3 RIL millies. They are the older plain Ti ones without the steel insert though. Wonder if they changed the geometry on the new ones with the insert? Well I don't have 13 militaries, only three, but this picture of a fluted m...

The RIL and liner lock blades are ground exactly the same. I can say with %100 certainty, that this is not true. At least not in all cases. The lock interface on my linerlock milies is quite different than the lock interface on my fluted ti millie. Again, my fluted ti millie does not have the steel...

I tried to swap the xhp blade from the brown military sprint with the blade on my fluted millie, and it was all wrong. however, my fluted millie does not have the steel insert, so that's a variable i can't speak to. i think i remember jnewell having success with just such a swap though.
