I've a Salt 2 on the way and I'm going to dye it in the same color. I took quite a while (more than 20 minutes) to achieve this color.

Didn't even think about tan! Please post some pics once the deed is done! I thought about that myself, but decided to try the tan. Still waiting for the rit dye to arrive, so can't show how it turns out yet. https://s17.postimg.cc/prie2cz5r/20180422_135038.jpg Not really tan but I like the end resu...

H-1 PE for me. It seems like it holds an edge for roughly 1.5 cuts before I want to sharpen it.

SE H-1 is great though.
What are you cutting with it?

I see people mentioning getting knives on the exchange, could someone please fill me in on what this is, or if it's a particular website? Thank you
I believe it's the exchange subforum from knife forums (not here).

Re: Ebay seller advice

That eBay seller ships from France and also has a website: https://www.thebestknives.eu I'd also recommend to check www.coutellerie-tourangelle.com Usually these 2 French websites have the best deals in Europe. Sometimes Amazon has special deals, just check all of them in Europe (es fr de UK it). By...

Re: Migration to smaller knives....didn't realize

My regular carry is a Delica or other folder similar in size. If I had to choose to go bigger or smaller, say, give up the Delica for an Endura or Dragonfly, I'd move to the smaller option. My daily tasks don't demand a big knife and in fact a shorter one is more handy for cutting stuff you hold wit...

These MXG clips look very nice and I think they're reasonable priced. However, the shipping costs to Europe (40$) make it a no deal for me.

Re: Migration to smaller knives....didn't realize

threads like these are so weird. talking about being unable to use a minimanix or Paramillie in an office. discussions like this are the reason I was super paranoid about using my spydercos when I first started buying them. Then I learned that, in every part of the planet where I've lived, no one c...

Im with reject: absolutely. I have knives that beat the Delica in one aspect or another, but none that beat it in all (or even most).

Want a folder for EDC? The Delica is as good as it gets. I own 7 ;) Delica is pretty great.. but as good as it gets? I have many more to buy to confirm this idea Sure your needs may vary and other designs can fit your hand better, but for me the Delica has proven excellent in many conditions and jo...

IMO red FRN is generally easy to achieve
Señor Peacent, did you disassemble the knife prior to the dyed job or you just immersed it without disassembling?

Re: Rit dye yellow scales

I think red would probably do it. Check out KP's website. They have a bunch dyed different colors, so you can get an idea of what's possible. Thanks for the suggestion, I browsed their website and the red does look very good. I might try the red on an orange Delica or even on the Dragonfly, but wan...
