I would probably just get a Caribbean.
My first thought was that, but the Caribbean is a bigger knife.

Re: Is anyone else completely in love with the Dragonfly?

Lately, the PE Salt is my most carried knife.
I prefer the Salt 2, but because of my job I mainly carry the dragonfly. It is a great design.

Re: The RIT dye thread

I've only dyed Salts and I've never removed the scales. As mentioned, the dye will start to fade on the most exposed and rubbed areas, you might want to redo the job after 2 or 3 years. I dyed these knives with a tan color 3 years ago and they started to show the yellow on some areas, so I dyed them...

Re: Salt 2 ffg LC200N now available in Europe!

I have to sign in to the Spyderco exchange so I'm able to get one of these. Hopefully on the weekend I'll have time to make a reddit account. Lamnia still has the SE drop point and SE wharnie! (But you want PE, I assume?!) / And do you think that on the Spyderco exchange someone will offer a (used)...

Re: Best way to sell Spyderco knives

I hope this new market place will make things easier for us in EU as well.
Secondary market is very scarce here, there are a few knives I'd like to move and make someone else happy too.

Re: Best way to sell Spyderco knives

This also applies for used goods? I mean, one could assume that for example VAT or duties had already been paid once when the initial purchase of a NEW item at a shop was done, or latest upon first import from abroad. A valuable item might be sold ten times. If always across borders, would there be...

Re: Practical methods for making Salt knives pointier

Thank you everyone. I used a sander with 80 grit sandpaper and it got the job done. I started with 40 grit but it didn't work so well. I got the blade shape / spine drop I wanted. Tried do make some swedge but didn't have the time to finish it. https://i.postimg.cc/Y03cmHds/IMG-20210314-164122.jpg

Re: Salt 2 LC200 questions

I'm yet to try LC200N, but Cedric and Ada rate LC very high on their cut tests: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1b_rNfdJnL9oyn-JoL9yUHhUmDLAP1hJ1dN_0q5G4tug/htmlview#gid=1607644856 Yes, above Cruwear,S30V... The numbers from Pete's tests can be misleading unless you look at the details. ...
