Hi Simsmac, I think that Jabba probably hit the nail on the head. Some makers are better at some types of designs or materials. Some makers are better at higher volume designs. how noticeably is the weight difference between the hollow and FFG manix 2? Hollow grind is 5oz, and FFG is 4.25oz. In-hand, the difference is quite apparent; the skeletonized liners and the extra metal taken off the blade really cut down on weight of the FFG version. I'm not really sure which vers...
