I've been eyeing this one since the pre orders opened a few months ago.

I finally also put my order in this morning. I know I will kick myself later if I miss out on this combo...

Man, thats a nice problem to have! :)

Dunno how unique these will be when they finally arrive, but I would consider the following if I was in your position:

Millie M390
Lionspy
Tuff
Techno
Dodo sprint

My vote goes to the EP too, although I've never used the WE. I had a Lansky for a few years, but got so frustrated with the clamping system (knife moving while clamped) that I vowed never to use a clamping system again. What I like about the EP is that you can easily sharpen very long blades, like c...

Currently I have an Aqua Salt SE for camp food prep.

Although I do not have one yet, I am looking to get a Moran soon to keep the Aqua company during camping.

Thanks for the review, I was reading about the Zulu just yesterday... Interesting knife - I like it...

The only small drawback for me would be sharpening the slightly recurved blade.

On the Para 2 I simply face the knife down, use my index finger to press/pinch the compression lock an it virually closes itself (gravity). I'm having a hard time trying to figure our how you get your fingers in the way  Me too. For me its the easiest lock to disengage one handed. I love ...

Congrats! The Para 2 is awesome...

It was my first Spyderco as well (the 20cp sprint) :D

That did not deter me from getting 4 other "lesser" models in a very short time. I love and use them all!

After seeing CXXX's list  , I realise I dont have an addiction after all :)

My wife will be glad to hear that!

Maybe I should celebrate my non-addiction with a GB that I've been resisting for the last few weeks

I love the feel of the current G10 version, but sometimes I wish for more exotic steel than VG10.

CF with ZDP or Superblue? I would be all over it like a bad rash!

What I learn from this is to ignore paranoid people, and to enjoy my Spydies before the whole world turns paranoid.

SA is currently busy implementing a new "Dangerous Weapons Act", which could influence our carry options here. :(

I cannot see how it will be enforced though. *Sigh*

I have both the H1 SE and the G10 Dragonflies.

I prefer the solid build and heft of the G10 version over the FRN versions. I normally carry the G10, but I like and carry the Salt too on occasions which require better corrosion resistance.

Get both!

On weekdays I usually carry a Dragonfly clipped or loose in my jeans coin pocket, and on weekends a Para 2 clipped to my right front pocket.

I always carry a lanyard with a Preon Revo, alox SAK Rambler and small pry bar clipped to left front pocket.

A great knife to me is both a tool and a work of art. Price is not that important when I consider buying an exotic, rare, functional piece of pocket jewellery (like a sprint run). As long as I can afford it, that is... I'm willing to pay good money for quality, and more for quality and exclusivity. ...
