Re: Justice for the Spyderedge
I wasn't implying PE are better Lance, simply that with the kind of use I do I couldn't justify spending money on a SE blade as it wouldn't see enough use (and my pocket can only afford a knife that will be used more then it's money worth). JD also did give me food for thought about SE a few months ...

Re: Justice for the Spyderedge
I wonder what's the % of SE user compared to PE user. I remember you started a thread asking for PE version of some knife that didn't had the option. Even thought I personnaly am not interested in PE, I think it could be a good option for those loving it if there's enough demand for it. I guess Sal ...

Re: Is it real or fake Military
I'm not the one with the longest presence here but personally I've never saw a real spydie with no stamping (excluding regrind).
I've vote fake.

Re: Delica 4 Issues
I have been browsing the fake market attempting to spot all of them for the last year so you guys could know if a knife you had doubt about had actual chances of being a fake. I can tell for sure I haven't seen any delica being sold by the chinese market during that last year. I can't tell for thing...

Re: Paramilitary 2 v Yojimbo 2 - which would you choose?
I don't own either but I find the para2 to have a blade shape size not far enough from what I own for me to have any interest in it. On the other hand, the Yo2 is something I'd really love to try.

Re: Who would buy a cruwear Southfork?
Thanks Jim
I somehow missed those shots. It must be great to use such slicer! :)
Almost make me feel like I should try a full regrind on 1 of my knives, but I'm affraid I still lack some skill to make it perfectly even on all the length of the blade and don't want to mess up.

The usual turn around time when you send item at warranty department is about 3 week if I'm right, and might vary depending on the quantity of item they received in the past week. If you haven't heard a word 3 weeks after the delivery date, you could try to give them a call or send an email to see w...

Re: Thoughts on Ankerson's cut testing results
I've done some but not extensive cutting of hard plastic on push cut. Cutting 15" heavy duty tie-wrap (250pounds) with no failure. It was only a few cuts (15-20) so I can only say that it can do it but not for how long. One thing to note is that I run my K2 at 3um finish presently. If you're in...

Re: Thoughts on Ankerson's cut testing results
That's because you were not aware you were going to hit metal. I've made a small pike out of a strand of a 500MCM aluminum conductor which by itself was about the size of a gauge 6 solid wire by "whittling" at it like we do with wooden stick. Yeah I was bored and my co-workers told me the ...

Re: New Spyderco Nilakka*
-16F isn't bad if you're on the ground and walking around. When you're 300 feet up and it's windy at -25F (And colder) it can get pretty miserable...especially if you're there for hours on end (Ask me how I know)... I may buy a Pukko first...I'm still torn as to whether I'll buy a Pukko or Nilakka ...

Re: Proposal: Spyderco Midtechs
Interesting idea and I'm sure it is doable and could even be profitable. The part I would be dubious about were I in Sals shoes would be whether i really wanted to complicate my life in order to earn the privilege of doing business with the smallest, most OCD, hardest to satisfy segment of the mark...

Re: a little cardboard vs. M4 and S110V
2 things I'm wondering: -Did the knife dulled because of micro-chip on the edge that you can see? -What's the angle setting your using when sharpening your M4? Asking that because I know micro-chipping is what finally dulled my 10V knife after about 10h medium/hard use on it (That was with the edge ...
