I'm really looking forward to this one, I was considering a SR-1 before, but didn't like the price tag, I also like the g10 side of this one plus spyderhole.

The Manix 2 is one of my favorite models, I have the Blue/S30V and Green/XHP I'm also on the preorder for the Black/B75P and Tan/M4 (Really wish I could find an S90V), haven't gotten the regular version yet, but probably won't since I prefer FFG. IMO one of the most ergonomic knives I've tried, I al...

I like the Military idea, perhaps and/or the Gayle Bradley maybe with a peelply cf instead. I think that would lead to a lot of "m4 or s90v gb?" threads and lots of "both" answers.

S110v

We've got some S110V coming in. Don't know what we'll make out of it yet. We thought we would try some new grinding methods. Hi Phil, As I understand, Crucible is still making S110V. We'll see how much comes in? I think Carpenter could be convinced to make some S110V variant. They made BD-1 (Gingmi ...

It was a run of 700, the last manix 2 in s90v that I saw, on BF went for $295, haven't seen one come up for several months though, the last 3 S90V militaries went for $275ish, GPknives, had a couple for awhile for $300 I think. Pre-ordered ones originally went for about $190 shipped from dealers.

I find it to be the easiest lock to operate one handed to open (even without the spyderhole) and close, including the AXIS lock, just pinch the lock between thumb and index finger and wrist flick open and closed, super easy. Aside from that its ergonomics, simplicity of design (open back, not many p...

I've had a Para 1 for about 3 years, however mine seems to have been used, its one of the older ones, older jimping, philips screws for the clip, etc. The lock has traveled all the way across to the other side, it started at about 85% when I got it out of the box, however even with it all the way ov...

The para 1 is .5 mm thicker than the second, its just barely perceptible when looking at them side by side. I too have an old para 1 with the phillips screws and old style jimping.
