Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places

Hi All: Quick note - ebay has 20% coupon for 4th of July. Just got a good deal on a Pacific Salt. Here is the link https://www.ebay.com/rpp/63406?rmvSB=true . Not a crazy deal, but pretty good. LV :spyder: Thanks for the heads up! Scored a new Caribbean for $120 shipped! I got close to that. Caribb...

Re: Found 8 more filet knives

I am definitely in for any kitchen knives. I know that I received a filet knife on the first contest but unfortunately it is now resting on the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico. A complete stranger picked it up off the fillet table on Bob Hall Pier, began using it, then dropped it in the water. HE said ...

Re: Bow River info

I bet it could displace your pairing knife in the kitchen... in case you need a justification for buying one. I'm sure there are people here who will do that, but at .12" thick it will make for a pretty lame paring knife. I'm in the same boat as many of us... this is cheap, it's Spyderco, it's...

Re: Improving The Smooth G10 Cruwear PM2

I am getting there. I just put it back together, but may take it apart again when the polishing compound I ordered is delivered. This is already a DRASTIC improvement over the original scales. This may just become a favorite after all.. https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1741/41870724814_21d36ff506_k.jp...

Re: Improving The Smooth G10 Cruwear PM2

It's just a classier knife now guys, I love it. Has a killer "Al Mar" look and feel now. I hope we get polished black micarta in the future or just plain micarta. That looks great. I just disassembled mine, installed the muslin wheel on the bench grinder at work, and am about to get start...

Re: Am I the only one?

I tend to flick my knives while at my desk at work alot. I guess it is just a way of stress relief. One tip I have that made the world of difference to me is- When applying pressure with your middle finger (or whatever finger) try and direct that pressure more towards the pivot rather than away from...

I'm In! One of my greatest heroes in life would have to be my very first boss. He was not in the service, but lived a very hard life as an oilfield hand and taught me the meaning of hard work, responsibility, trust, honesty, and accountability. I was 16 at the time I met Martin and being 33 now I ca...

This has been on my “need” list for a very long time. Can’t wait to finally pick one up. Congrats Michael! Your work is excellent, as proven in the awesome scales you designed and manufactured for my now custom large lum. You have some serious skills dude.

Re: Actual users

I own around 40 spydies and if I really had to choose the ones I find myself actually using the most, it would be my Air, My PacSalt SE, and my Sprig. That is all I would ever need. Variety, however, is the spice of life so I love carrying different stuff daily.

Re: KnifeCenter Exclusive CPM-Cruwear Paramilitary 2

Mine is a perfect example. I really like the G10. I usually carry a black G10 Fully Serrated S30v Pm2 in my back pocket, so this makes for a neat dual carry. As usual, Fit and finish is perfect, razor sharp, perfect centering, and a little tight to drop freely, which is what I expect, because they w...

One of the most beautiful Delica yet. I don't get all the remarks about it being feminine.

I would love this color on the Salts.
I 100% agree. Many of the Saltwater bay and gulf boats manufactured on the Texas Coast sport this color. I think it looks great.

Mint green. Wintergreen. https://imgur.com/GsLIYws.jpg https://imgur.com/GeVZAm1.jpg Awesome pictures. Thanks for sharing. I am thinking about picking one up JUST because of the color. I fish A Lot and this would be a cool fishing knife. It also matches my dad's boat color so I might have to gift h...

Re: BladeHQ Exclusive Native 5 Jade G10 CPM-M4

Funny how the knife community coined the term “jade” G10. Don’t get me wrong, I love my latest PM2 from bladehq but let’s call it what it is. Natural G10. It’s simply G10 in its raw form. We go through hundreds of sheets of the stuff and for us at least, it is by far the cheapest G10 you can purchas...
