Good stuff. That's what people mean when they talk about "design purity", and ultimately why I guess all of us here back Spyderco to the hilt (... err, choil?).

Regardless of the honesty of the eBay vendor, as it's a deliberate counterfeit I think it should ideally be confiscated and destroyed, otherwise sooner or later someone WILL be conned. If that can't be done, eBay should pull the plug on both the item and vendor, otherwise aren't they're profiting fr...

I'm with bearfacedkiller. " Buy it cheap, buy it twice. " Internet research showed me the way to Spyderco only a few months ago. I had previously baulked at the unusual look, but a very poor Boker plus experience made me look for better, and the good reviews for spydies on the web was over...

I suppose Spyderco could ultrasound test and certify every blade that they dispatch ... but I for one wouldn't want to pay for it. These are pocket knives, not fighter jets, after all. (Sorry!) The most interesting thing for me here is Sal's prompt, clear and appropriate response.

Like a right pillock I put my Delica into the fleshy bit of my thumb whilst in the office on Weds! I was going over a report transcription whilst cutting chunks off an apple, and got distracted. Boy, did that bleed!!!! Ended up with it being glued and taped in Accident & Emergency. I was very em...

I've no doubt that as they have the spyderco name both on and behind them, the Tenacious line are of satisfactory quality and utility. I'm happy to pay more for some of the better ones myself. Quality products often follow the law of diminishing returns, however, and we all make our own judgement ca...

Woot! The PM2 arrived this morning from Heinnie Haynes, within 2 working days despite gales, floods and the usual Christmas mayhem. LOVELY knife. Better finish, I think, than my Delica and the opening/lock actions are simply superb (even when applying the usual English understatement). Love the G10,...

I got home from the pub a bit worse for wear last night and pressed the button on the Paramilitary 2. I've until the Visa statement arrives in January to think of an excuse that my better half will believe. Oops!

Hi. I know EXACTLY what the OP is saying ... after being dismayed by the poor quality of a Boker Plus knife, I sent it back and upgraded to a sabre ground Delica, which arrived just a couple of days ago. After years of loyalty to Victorinox, I am just blown away by this great knife. The blade, the h...
