Re: CQI Shabaria ?
The Shabaria has always interested me however because as far as I know they never made one in full SE. And I can't for the life of me understand why Spyderco doesn't make at least one or two of their great "recurve" models in Spyderedge. Am I misremembering or is the issue that full SE is...

So which lock would you guys say is best, if you want to keep it sleek, secure but ambidextrous ?
Bolt, button or CBBL ?
Eventough it seems the least lefty friendly, I would still say button.

Re: CQI Shabaria ?
There was a sprint run from 2018. I believe it is the one the OP posted, with Gray G10 and VG10 steel. Seemed like it was mostly a collector piece. Correct. I believe the original run was somewhere up to 2003 ? With a carbon fiber sprint somewhere in 2013 ? But don't hold me to that. And I agree, t...

CQI Shabaria ?
Hi folks, I was carrying my Shabaria today. Which is a beautifully slender knife, but with surprising strength in the stab and a very "biting" edge profile. As a graceful edc as well as an SD knife it excels. And it made me wonder, considering the more than two decades since it's inception...

Re: Why did you join?
Well I was recommended spyderco by a buddy of mine when I needed a rescue/emergency knife. I ended up with a atlantic salt and dragonfly. And afterwards I just got bitten by the bug ;-) Now Spyderco is the most represented brand in my collection, and I have few regrets buying them. The salt DF is st...

Top 3 favourite fixed blade spydies
So a question I asked recently, got me thinking: what's your top 3 spyderco fixed blades ( axes, kitchen and Varia included ) and why ? For me it's quite easy: 3) South Fork: beautiful, flexible in its utility, but I'm always a bit afraid of losing it/ breaking it. 2) Aqua salt: no fear of rust, and...

Re: Province or Bradley bowie
What do you plan to do with it? Province is larger and heavier. And should be more expensive. If it's for a camp knife and hard landscape use, the Province. If it's for hiking the bowie (or something smaller still). And if your local dealer has them for the same price something is amiss. Should be ...

Province or Bradley bowie
Hi everyone,
I'm going to need you guys' advice:
I'm looking at getting a new fixed blade.
And the Province and Bradley bowie both cost the same on my local retailer.
At the same price point, which one would you get ?
(Or would you just get a street beat LW?)

Re: Affordable fixed blade (AFK)
Regarding the steel, if the objective is to keep raw material, tooling and processing costs down, I’d be happy with 52100 or ... I would fall over in a faint if Spyderco did this in 52100 -- a smallish fixed blade (like 4 inches) in 52100 is something I have been thinking about for quite some time....
