Nice score, Ted. I have a plain-edged Executive and agree with your comments about the size, weight, and feel of this design. I wonder if it is still feasible for Sypderco to do the handle inlay treatment for the current popular ss models? Imagine the ss handled Police, Endura, etc. with a similar i...

Tim Wegner (I like it better than the Military), JD Smith (I only gave it up as an EDC to make room for a Sebenza), Zowada (I like it better than the Native), and Shabaria (I just plain flat-out like this one) are all under-rated, imo. I can't figure out why Spyderco didn't sell a kazillion of them....

My interest in recent models is not as great as my interest had been in older models. Recent purchases of Spyderco knives are usually updates of older models or older models that I did not have a chance to purchase the first time around. The Yojimbo might change that trend. As far as forum activity,...

Upon attempting entry into my car, I deeply scratched the paint of the rear door with the clip of my Military. (This happened shortly after I had purchased the knife which was carried in my right rear pocket). Maybe that's why to this day I haven't really taken a liking to the Military and have alwa...

danzo, I think you've got one of the newer (improved) models--since you mentioned that it's a plain edge (I think the older versions were all combo edges). Another tip-off should be that the blade on the new version is VG-10 steel. Between the old and new Zowada, imo, the newer (improved) version is...

rorschach, thanks for the tip. I'm not familiar with the Design 50 tube. For my information, are there photographic advantages of this flourescent bulb over other types? Also, do you set your white balance for flourescent or leave it on automatic? (I'm assuming you're taking digital pictures). Thank...
