Well, just to pile on here... The Caly 3.5 was my first "real" knife (not counting my little SE Ladybug 3). I carried it and loved it for a long time, then I thought maybe I should try some other Spydies. I tried over 50 different models, in every size range and lock configuration. Now I'm...

4 Forum Natives passed through my hands (2 for me, 2 for another guy). All had a little bit of play.

This little guy (SE Ladybug 3) was my first Spydie. http://i1333.photobucket.com/albums/w636/Shakyamuni25/Knives/6c3f1632-5bea-4efd-aaae-8478a0325ac3_zps7f0c7815.jpg One day I tried to cut an apple with it for my kids and learned that (1) the blade was way too small, and (2) serrated edge makes a re...

Had a SB Caly 3.5 and sold it (can't handle the upkeep of a non-stainless blade). Had a CF Caly 3.5 and sold it (There was a gap between the scale and the liner and I didn't like the smoothness of the CF). My first "real" spydie was a VG-10 Black G-10 Caly 3.5, and after trying more than 5...

Thanks Deacon, first post updated.

I have a Domino and it seems to be exactly the same thickness of the Para 2, but I don't have an official measurement yet.

Really ironic. After about five years I stopped carry Calys. Native5 kicked them out of my pocket. But yesterday I realized how much do I miss them. Today Caly3.5 is in my FRP. Most likely will stay there for a little while. Probably will rotate with Persian. :) Same here, except I stopped carrying...

Thanks for chiming in Per-Sev, and thanks again Deacon for your contributions! I have added the Tuff and CF Balance to the table.

Anyone out there who gets a Domino, I'm dying to know the handle thickness on that one!?

I'm not sure, because I bought it that way. I'll check with the original owner and see if he remembers.

Endgame, I tried to get a head start on your contest because I thought you would post the pictures during the day when I could work on it, but you posted at night when I couldn't do anything. Anyway, I went back through the ~50 threads that you've started, most of them talking about the knives that ...

I knew I would love this knife, but that photo you posted looks so much better than the mock-up. Even more excited now. Where'd you find that, Shakyamuni? Chris Newgraham had a couple collector's numbers for sale today, and had a photo posted: http://newgraham.com/store/product/11058/Native-5-Green...
