Re: Urban discussion

I'm ok with the walk and talk of the urban. The spring tension is what I'd want from a non locking knife. The only thing I'd ask that factory to fix is their edges, particularly the thumb holes. My AEB-L urban had some sharp thumb holes that i think wasn't helped at all by the satin finish of the bl...

Re: Watu...AKA Lil Chokwe

This one makes me happy for so many reasons. The origins of design, the practical dimensions, the comp lock (I'm in favor of it), the great blade steel, and especially the charity associated with it! That last part the most. I remember my last day of school in SA was world AIDS day, they taught us a...

Re: K390 fans rejoice!

I just cant believe the Police K390 hasnt had more success than its had. 2 sad ratings why it hasn't. 1) legally the size can be prohibitive, plenty of (if not most) places restrict the legal blade length for pocket knives. Even if you live somewhere that goes up to 4 inches you'd get in trouble 2)...

I don't have a problem with the clip as is.. Oh well :)
On a side note - how do you pronounce Brouwer? Brow, like eyebrow or Brew, like coffee?
Brouwer is a Dutch designer.
So Brou would be like eyebrow.
But the W should be a sharp F like Field
So it would be "Browfer"

Re: Slipit as a base for testing new steels

A slipit makes sense considering that not everyone can have a locking knife everywhere. Gives more people a chance to check out interesting steels

Re: Location

Tampa FL But born in Johannesburg, South Africa. And most of my family is near Salzburg Austria Where? Maybe I know them..?! They actually live in a little farming village. Not the actual town. I think their village is closer to Zell am See than Salzburg itself but in the province of Salzburg.
