Spyderco decided that my Spyder Rench was not repairable and offered my the purchase price toward any Spyderco I want. Sure does restore my faith in customer service.

Have had mine for about 6months and it what I carry 90% of the time. So yeah shell out whatever to get one!

Victorianox!! My Champion is 22 years old, used daily for 13 years, never had any problems with it. The olny thing that broke was the little spring in the scissors and that is a counter item at dealers.

Do NOT buy the Spyder Rench!!! The pliers are useless. If you really want one I'll sel you mine. I will press my 5 year old Leatherman back into service. Don't care for the Gerber, too many moving parts.

I have owned my Chinook for appx. 6 mos. and can honestly say that I like everything about it. I carry now instead of my Emerson CQC-7.

Good for you!!! I refuse to be a victim. I always carry either my Chinook or CQC7 AND a Colt Govt model 45acp.

Don't know about anyone else, but I use Breakfree, same stuff I use on all my guns!

A leather sheath or pouch is one more thing to hang off my belt. With a cell phone, holster for my sidearm, I have no place left to hang a sheath.
