I hope Spyderco doesn't allow them anymore exclusives.

Totally unexpected. To bad it's way overpriced. I'll stick with the Cruwear Sprint. I'd never pre-pay with full price and not have a cancellation option.

I heard they should be back in September. Hopefully it's true. I've been waiting for one. I don't see why they would change the blade steel. The manufacturer confirmed that the steel isn't being discontinued.

If I offended anyone I apologize. It was a valid concern of mine. Now back to positivity in this thread. :)

So far I haven't seen any flaking off or chipping from my blade blades. I was curious if it would happen on the Tenacious, but so far so good.

Nope. I never was negative on the subject. In fact I never posted in the orignal thread at all.

It's good to hear that Spyderco is making them though. Curious if they will come out before the additional KW Para 2's.

I've been thinking about picking one up. I can't decide if I want the serrated Dragonfly or hawkbill ladybug.

I wonder if Spyderco decided not to do it this year after the negativity on the thread.

I don't like that you can easily catch your index finger on the back edge of the blade.

I've thought about doing this myself. Let me know how it works out.

I missed out on the Lum Tanto sprint. Spyderco please bring the tanto folder back to production.

When was his last email sent? I've signed up for the mailing list awhile ago and haven't received an email yet. :rolleyes:

I've been anxiously waiting the release and sure enough it happens after I've already spent my knife allowance. Good thing it's a new production knife and not a sprint. I can wait a little longer.

To each their own but I have a feeling these won't be flying off the shelves.

I hope you are right. A year is a long time to wait and then find out Nada. At any rate, I paid through Paypal so technically Knife Works should have used Signature Confirmation as the order was over $250... Hmmm I'll check with the Post Office tomorrow and see what they have to say.... I've had to...

I doubt Knifeworks has a waiting list now. They were backed up so far months ago they said they weren't taking any names.

Dang. I wonder why they made so few. They had to know they would sell out fast.
