Do you know for a fact that Spyderco makes such a requirement? I'm thinking the "S" in MSRP stands for SUGGESTED. Beyond that, the $300 is for the bundle, not just the PM2. They get $100 for the LM, so they're charging you $200 for the PM2. Not to mention that you have no real way of know...

I hope Sal chimes in soon about this situation.

Spyderco requires knives to be sold at no more than MSRP. If you only want the PM2, it's $300. That's over MSRP! You shouldn't be forced into a bundle. This is the first bundle I have every seen in an attempt to buy a Spyderco knife.

Why would Spyderco do business with such a shady company? Were trying to support Spyderco, yet a dealer is just flipping these. I thought Sal said he was going to talk with the dealer after the blue military fiasco. This bundle is just a way to pad the price. I'm out on this one.

Thanks. I never saw that release from Spyderco. I'll have to keep my eyes open for a blue version.

Why did Spyderco stop anodizing the Fluted Military?
I know why they stopped the method for the first generation, but why did they stop producing the blue anodized version?

I just got my KW exclusive Para 2 today and the action is stiff. This is the first Para 2 that I received that didn't open and close buttery smooth. I'm thinking about sending it in for warranty repair. These knives should flip in and out easily with little effort.

Limiting to 2 knives isn't helping. People won't like it but I think they should be limited to 1 knife. That will spread the Project out more. These knives are meant to be used to test the steel.

Did you sharpen it recently? I'm wondering if that is cross-contamination from your sharpening equipment?? I usually wipe the edge clean after sharpening and I haven't sharpened it in awhile. I originally thought the same thing must of caused it. I've cleaned off the rust and if there were any meta...

I think the auction is what will seal the deal on them not getting anymore exclusives. It turned them from an overpriced dealer to a flipper.

In all fairness, BBS did not set that high price. It was an auction and the bidders set the price when they bid it up that high. What should BBS have done, refuse to sell it at the high price? If they're a stocking Spyderco dealer, yes. We all know Sal doesn't want his knives listed for more than M...

I don't think other dealers are going to charge full price like BBS does. I believe some dealers actually like to offer deals to their customers. It keeps you coming back for future purchases.
