Do you have any Spyderco knives on pre-order?
Or any that you are anticipating getting this year? So many good choices.

Re: Almost there...
Do you do anything with them or just admire the barcodes? Well, right now just collecting them. Once I have them all then I will decide what do with them. Think I might make a wall display for them, not sure yet. One of the reasons I got into knives was the metallurgy, reading and learning about it...

Almost there...
Almost complete, just need two more to have all of the current production mule team blades. I have the 9CR13MOV (MT05P) en route, and now just missing the CPM-M4 (MT02P) and ZDP-189 (MT04P). The search continues for those ones, obviously they are early models so it might take a while. http://i.imgur...

Re: Why Spyderco logo is painted?
What Spyderco knives do you have with a painted logo? Mine are all current, or recently discontinued, models and none of the logos are painted. I think they mean that the logo is filled in (?) It's product branding, I personally have no problem with it (I actually like it). I would say that this op...

Re: Where to find a spyderco leafstorm?
Looks like there is one on ebay right now. As for reasonable price, that might be hard since that knife is discontinued and it's pretty desirable. No doubt a really cool knife, but you will be lucky to find one for even MSRP these days. Good luck in your search!

Re: Para 3 variants
On that list, the one I am really interested in is the S110v variant. I'm anxiously waiting for the PM3 to be offered in a non s30v steel (not that there is anything wrong with that steel, I just have so many blades in s30v already)

Re: Tanto?
I only have one tanto and that is a benchmade mini grip, works great for opening boxes. And thinking back, you are right I dont really recall many Spyderco knives being offered with a tanto blade. That's ok though, I love the leaf blade shape that Spyderco is known for, works great for most applicat...

And that should be the end of that. I like both companies, both make excellent knives. Glad it was resolved and everyone can move on.sal wrote:Hi Carl,

Re: ETA on Maxamet Native?
Kind of a sidenote, anyone know if these will be produced later (along with the Maxamet manix) in a G10 configuration? Oh and *ahem* *Cough* Maxamet PM2* *ahem* The more i learn about Maxamet the more I become very inclined to try one of these once they become more regularly available. I think that...

Re: I'm reticent to buy a knife made in Taiwan.
I just got the Spydiechef which is made in Taiwan (also have the Bradley and Bradley 2 which are both made in Taiwan). These 3 are very nice knives, great quality and materials used. I'm usually a little cautious about knives made in China (from brand to brand), but the Spyderco's made in Japan and ...
