Re: MAP policy change? 35%
Perhaps dealers could do like Rickenbacker guitar dealers do and not advertise (the "A" in MAP) the price -- just show it when you add it to your cart or request an emailed price.

NONE. Headed to Anchorage for work this week with just a carry-on bag... meaning no knives get to come along!

Brown G10 Chokwe Salt in LC200N. Chokwes never really bother to clean their knives, and pretty much just ignore and live with the rust.
Or, brown XHP Chokwe.

Re: Your Favorite Examples of Spyderedge, and Why
Initially, I didn't even consider the serrated kitchen knives, but they definitely deserve a spot on my "favorite examples of spyderedge" list. It would be awesome to have that style of serration in a Centofante 3, or another thin-bladed folder.

Re: Your Favorite Examples of Spyderedge, and Why
Peacent, if Spyderco were to offer a modified Atlantic Salt, with the same H1 stainless blade and the same serrated and plain edge as the current model, (if they were to add it to the lineup along with what they currently have) but a modified more Wharncliffe blade, with a sharp point and the serra...

Re: EDC: Rotation VS Carrying the same knife
For pocket carry, I usually carry 2 or 3 knives at once. Usually there is something new-ish in there, as well as at least one "favorite" tried and true design.
The Manbug H1 SE Salt is pretty much always in my pocket these days. :)

Re: Show us your lanyards!
Personally, I've never had much luck with lanyards. It is almost always raining in SE Alaska, so they end up getting wet... which means a wet pocket, if that's where you carry your knife. Also, if you're doing anything related to fish, game, food, etc., they get smelly and dirty.

Re: Considering an Atlantic Salt..
My new Atlantic SE arrived at the post office today, and is just what I was looking for. It's hard to imagine anything better for cutting line and rope out on the water. The new slots in the scales are a bit visually odd, but don't seem to weaken the scales, impact the grip, or have any downside. (...

Re: more zome?
I'd like to see more zome, for sure. The camo-like colors used on the E4, D4, and FRN dragonfly are excellent. (Although, may have contributed to my losing my zome E4!!!) Can zome be used on G10?
I'd be very curious to see how exactly the dye is applied to the scales.

Your Favorite Examples of Spyderedge, and Why
There have been a number of discussions on the forum lately where one or two members have noted their favorite examples of Spyderco's "spyderedge" serrations; that gave me the idea for this thread. As most formuites are aware, not all spyderedge is equal -- there is noticeable variation de...
