KP, These two ARE my EDC! I edc the smaller Calypso Jr. to work & carry the Goddard on the weekends. BTW... The blade length on the Goddard is just over 3.5 inches at 3.63 inches. This tiny bit makes it illegal to carry here in Colorado except for hunting or fishing. :( Luckily on weekends I'm ...

Will work for knife

Me too on this. And you could always wait for the new Caly jr. to come out, burgundy FRN, ZDP 189 blade. Choices, choices :D Choices kill, especially with such great quality of :spyder: 's. My list "to get" is exploding, can't help it. And I'm just newbie, with no appetite for special, cu...

Aloha and welcome KP, I agree with Chris here. BUT...which Goddard are you looking at? The Gray FRN ones? Either way, there is no way to compare the two, as they are very different :spyder: designs. As Chris pointed out, "Both can be used for EDC." God bless  Thanks DAYWALKER! Yeah,...

Thanks. I certainly looked at the pictures and realize those are different models. Just wanted to seek more opinions and experiences.

Don't I wish I could have both in 3 (EDS, collection, spare) variants :o

Caly Jr. vs Goddard

Caly Jr. gray FRN model was on my wishlist for some time now and I was pretty deterimed to get one soon. Now I came across Goddard model I never considered before.

Hearing Sal, this is meant for EDC. Is it fair to compare these two models?

Thanks for the tip, hardkiss.
No luck, either. They seem to have prices higher than usual and even those rare that are on sale came out high. (Calypso Jr. $51 after 40% discount)

If there will be a regular production Waved Endura, I sure hope it would be different from the first 500 in hopes of these possibly gaining some collector merit. :D (just thinking out loud, (out text?)) I don't see any sign (like "SDF" or "# of 500") that would make this run any...

Awaken by the buzzzz

I fell out of this whole run somewhere in the middle.
Not familiar with "wave draw", but impressed by people's responses.

What's the price of this 'custom' piece and how to order it?
Can one be sure this won't be mass-produced later?

my simple wish list

Both ideas were touched upon in this thread already: Variation of Meerkat, maybe bigger size, but with Phantom lock Some more color-handled knives, probably for the "traditional" models first, like Endura/Delica/Calypso Jr./etc. Not only it makes collection look different (more models/vari...

Sorry for your loss of grey Calypso jr. - that's on of my next :spyder: 's to get. Like Meerkat a lot - have only Reverse S model for now, and disappointed it is discontinued. Can Sal & Co revive Meerket's Phantom-lock, unique grip handle and nice clip design in some other, perhaps even bit bigg...
