Re: MAP illegal?
And I see you edited your original post, which invited people to bash you and call you names. I guess you didn't think it would be noticeable enough in that post, so had to make it it's own post to really try to get people angry. But I'm not playing your game. Ok, let the OP bashing, deflections be...

Re: Very DISAPPOINTED w/ laminated steel sprint runs
My DFly HAP40 has that slightly annoying extreme uneven line. One side being fine, the other side hugging the edge.
It was pre 30% MAP so it was an ok buy.
Now. No.

Re: “MADE IN USA”
I like the big city life. I can afford it.
Little warning stickers is spilled milk.
With some effort, I can acquire any firearm I want.
Some want to move out of CA but MANY from the south and midwest and foreigners replace them by the droves. Why.

Sadly, VG10 works very well as a EDC/daily user steel.

Re: Can't believe the BBS M390 Para 3 I received even left the factory
The Twilight Zone of dealers. When Sal exclaims that online dealers clammored for higher MAP, I imagine Mr. BBS in his house garage turned warehouse was one of the actual few along with maybe OsoGrande. Another piece of work. BTW, can online dealers offer coupons or "add cart for price" ye...

Dealers would get to that 15% MAP quicker that's for sure.

Re: MAP policy change? 35%
I only recently found out that former Military, not just active duty, can buy knives for 50% of MSRP directly from Spyderco. For me that is going to save me a good chunk of money for my purchases compared to the 65% MAP. Just a heads up in case former Military members weren’t aware of this. That is...

I have the whole HAP40 set. I suppose it's not the end of the world if I couldn't afford it because they were priced like car payments each.Canazes9 wrote:

Seeing so many people refusing to buy Spyderco‘s under the new MAP pricing has me excited - I’ll be able to buy some of the models that disappeared too quickly previously! I hope Sypderco bumps MAP another 5%! David Give it two years, if it becomes a trend (2016, 2018) Or you don't have to wait, ju...

Re: MAP policy change? 35%
I am trying to understand what exactly is causing all this fracas. Is it the fact that there is a change to MAP and it seems like the dealers are seeing the benefit? Or is it simply that the prices (due mainly to MAP) have gone up? Would folks be this upset if Spyderco sold direct and raised the pr...
