Re: Knife Loss: Question for all
I had the same situation happen Spyderedge. I just let it go, the relationship to me was more valuable than the property. Maybe they didn`t do it and If they did it, they know they did it and they will bear the weight of that burden and that is far worse than any possible gain they may have felt the...
Re: Emerson?
Emerson QC use to be pretty average but I can honestly say the 3 I have had (2 of which where the new production with standoffs and 1 the old with a spacer) Have been exceptionally well finished and after the break in period have become very smooth and capable. The grinds are of a very high level an...

Re: Storage, best $20 bucks I have spend in a while
Looks fantastic! There's always no limit to what you can do with a Plano case! Thanks! that really is true, I was looking at tackle boxes when I stumbled upon them. I went from storing each and every knife in its own box to this. I was concerned about security not to mention its nice to be able to ...

Re: It's Springtime in Winter...Huh?
^ There is a reason some of us are willing to put up with Texas' 114° summers, so we don't have to put up with snow like that very often :). Of course we still get the occasional ice storm. I'm thinking it may be a good time to go visit Surfingringo down in the Puerto Rico sun enjoying the fish! :)...

Just woke up to it being 40 degrees.. wtf florida! You were nice and 70 yesterday! I feel very bad for you Travvy, I will say a prayer for you while I am trying to pick axe out my storm drain that got covered by the plow and has now frozen into to a substance that has similar properties to carbon f...

Re: Emerson?
I think the 15 is a good choice. The ergonomics are one of the best of any of the knives I own or have owned. I like the fact it has a thicker handle and the guard is nice, I wear a large glove and this knife fits my hand really well. The grind is also particularly nice on this model. I don't have a...

Storage, best $20 bucks I have spend in a while
I purchased a Plano XL Pistol/Accessory case over the holidays. It cost me around 20 bucks, much less than a Pelican case and although it is no match for the quality, It suits my needs fine other than I will need another one fairly soon. Just put this up in case anyone else is looking for a reasonabl...
Re: Emerson?
I will add that all of the minis except the mini 7 and mini A100 are the size of a PM2. If you want an EDC size do not buy the full size 8, Commander, 15 unless you can EDC a Manix 2 XL comfortably That is a good call twinboysdad - the mini's in general in Emerson's line up are not too mini. Here i...

I was in the same boat I was pleasantly surprised when my first one arrived.
Re: Emerson?
I would likely be one of the few Emerson lovers on this forum :D but I use the CQC 7 for work and I love everything about it. Great Ergos, the new ones with the standoffs (at least that I have had have owned) have excellent fit and finish. And you can seriously abuse them. They are gritty out of the...

Small world! We lived in North Van before coming here, love Vanocuver. The Okanagan is a slower pace for sure but it's a pretty nice blend of city and the outdoors, like the North Shore but without the other million or so people surrounding it :D

Re: My first preorder
I am also down for this one, I think it would be a shame to miss it. I bought the Ti Frame lock and soon after sold it because of the weight. This one to me has it all, hopefully it is reasonably grippy, that is my only concern really.
