Got mine today, really amazing quality. Ridiculously sharp with a pretty acute edge grind, it drops freely, and has solid lockup. I think this is going to be a new favorite. I’ve never owned an Ikuchi but always found the design interesting. I’m just not a big fan of the CF/G10 laminated scales, so that combined with the S30V blade steel wasn’t exciting enough to get me to try it. I’d definitely be interested in it with new scales and steel.

Order placed! Easy transaction from DLT. I also had some reward points so I ended up getting about $60 off. Cant wait to get it!

The red spacer is perfect! The blue makes the Spyderco knife look like the mass amount of Benchmade Griptilian’s out there! The scales are smooth, but the ergos of the handle keep it locked pretty well in your hand. I have no concerns about slipping up onto the blade or around the handle in general on these, CF or G10. My local dealer had a black G10 satin blade S45VN PM2 last week, so they should be hitting dealers soon as they restock?

Given the issues I have with the cruwear dfly exclusive, I won’t ever be buying a seki sprint or exclusive again. I’m just not willing to take that gamble. I think you’re pretty safe with FRN exclusives, Seki does a great job with those. It just seems like Seki has struggled a little with QC on CF ...

Anyone else notice some discrepancies between the official K390 composition and what's listed in the note from Spyderco? I suspect that letter from Spyderco isn't correct.
