IN FLANDERS FIELDS In Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the Dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved and were loved, and now we l...

My wife's favorite kitchen knife is the Homemaker KX04, maybe we should have the Santoku K08 also. No matter how many Spyderco knives in the kitchen she will never understand why I have so many Spyderco's.

I keep mine in SpyderPac's, both the 32 Pocket and the 16 Pocket. I prefer the 16 Pac as they are smaller and easier to handle (32 Spyderco knives get a bit heavy). The Pac's are stored in dresser drawers. The Spyderco boxes are saved for future need if the collection is to be sold or traded. This m...

I also have the C65 in both SE and PE. I normally prefer Serrated edge, but in this case I think the PE adds to the beauity of the design. So if you only want one C65 I suggest the PE. One of my favorite EDC's is this Bob Lum Chinese Folder with the Jade Green Alimite aluminum coated handle. <img sr...

I have always been interested in knives; Gerber, Buck, Camillus folders and Victorinox Swiss Army Knives. In 1998 thru a catalog from Smokey Mountain Knife Works. They had a sale on Spyderco knives, discontinued or closeout. I purchased an Endura, aus-6, FRN, 50/50. My 1st Spyderco knife, was impres...

I received the letter last Friday, 29 Aug 03. I noticed the letter asked for a reply by 15 Aug! I voted for #1 because its expensive to stay a collector when paying list price for Spyderco knives & I am not interested in every variation. However I will continue to collect Spyderco's what ever th...

Neither, I think the Native III, vg-10 with the fiberglass 3-d handle and wire clip is the best version of the Native. It has become one of my daily carrys ( I alternate between 4 favorites).

C55 BOB TERZUOLA STARMATE, and excellent knife. I have one and it is a favorite, CPM440V blade steel, G-10 handle, combo P/S. I purchased one for around $98, msrp = $157 the reason no longer in production probably is the price and low demand. IMHO THIS KNIFE IS WORTH $150. Obtain one if you can I th...
