Spot on!

I thought ceramic was super cool when I first began knife collecting ... after getting 3 different ceramic knives (ranging from cheap to expensive) that weren't sharp from the factory, and going through every tutorial about how to sharpen them ... and failing ... I find Sal's assessment to be spot o...

The pinned FRN handles are all about light-weight/lower-cost/light carry.
I mostly like heavier handles, but I have several FRN handled Spydies, including Natives, and they "do-not-suck". Never-ever had a problem with weakness.
Wouldn't be afraid to tell you if I did either.

Here's a eagle head I dremeled into a deer antler and mounted a Damascus blade on. Fun project, and I gifted it to a very good friend!

Those are awesome. I'm in the middle of making my first knife out of a bar of 1084 right now. Filing.Takes. Forever. :) . This is a cheezy file jig I set up, but it worked just fine! Are you using a jig jossta? http://i554.photobucket.com/albums/jj405/JayBee3_photos/filejig-123block-guideholeclamp1...

Thank you all for your kind comments! To answer questions ... I live in Vancouver WA It's a hobby now, but I'm building a shop, buying a Weurtz grinder this year, and would like to eventually try to sell a few. Tough business though ... I don't think it will ever go beyond an "avocation". ...

Serrations will take a lot longer to dull than anything with a plain edge (almost) regardless of steel. I'd bet this would be a good thread topic! Sorry Joshua ... I had to rise to the bait on that one! :D Back on topic though ... A steel with a harder heat treat, say, Rc62 as opposed to...

Where?

A fluted TI Delica would be great, colored or not Reality? It would take some time. We have only seen the first wave of the fluted TI Military knife and we are waiting for subsequent shipments. At the same time we are waiting for the initial shipments of the fluted TI Native. Do you know where I co...

it's actually not a delica but a C05 Standard in G10, close design indeed but you'll notice that the blade in shorter and the handle more "linear"...
Thank you Senate ... I bought it used as a "Delica" ... nice to know what it really is!
I'm still happy with it though! :)
