I thought ceramic was super cool when I first began knife collecting ... after getting 3 different ceramic knives (ranging from cheap to expensive) that weren't sharp from the factory, and going through every tutorial about how to sharpen them ... and failing ... I find Sal's assessment to be spot o...

The pinned FRN handles are all about light-weight/lower-cost/light carry.
I mostly like heavier handles, but I have several FRN handled Spydies, including Natives, and they "do-not-suck". Never-ever had a problem with weakness.
Wouldn't be afraid to tell you if I did either.

Here's a eagle head I dremeled into a deer antler and mounted a Damascus blade on. Fun project, and I gifted it to a very good friend!

Serrations will take a lot longer to dull than anything with a plain edge (almost) regardless of steel. :confused: I'd bet this would be a good thread topic! Sorry Joshua ...
