Re: Anyone Live in Houston?

The weather will be very different from CO. Winters are really mild.

There are a lot of really good restaurants and lots of traffic. What would you like to know?

Re: Money Saving Tips

Reduce, reuse, recycle. Don't smoke or drink alcohol. Don't pay for cable TV. Don't pay for a gym membership. Exercise at home or in your neighborhood. Drive the most economical vehicle you can depending on your circumstances. Unplug your electric devices to avoid phantom power loss. Make informed p...

Re: Fire & Water: Survival's 2 Essential

I would agree with your assessment assuming you are properly clothed for the environment you are in. Exposure to the elements will kill you before anything else. Learning how to find water and material for fire making (no matter what method you are using to START the fire) are just as important as k...

Re: Keeping down the numbers

I try to keep it to a minimum. I currently have somewhere between 25-30 Spydies. I'm trying to sell a majority of them now. I'm a minimalist at heart and would like to thin the herd.....

Re: Spyderco Kitchen Knife

I second the magnetic holder. That's what I did with mine. Don't you want to show it off? Btw, burglars know there's probably a knife somewhere in the kitchen... :p

Re: Another "What Knife to Buy" Thread

If you don't have a Spyderco fixed blade, go for the street beat. Such a classy little knife. Carries really well for a fixed blade and the fit and finish(at least on mine) is phenomenal. Spyderco's fixed blades don't get enough attention in my opinion.

Did you know what make/brand it was? I didn't when I got mine, had to do a ton of research to find out and I'm still vague on the year. They also came in a double barrel 410 over 22 set up that I would KILL to own. My understanding is that they were very cheap and there aren't many left, I took it ...

Only rifle I own at the moment is a '50s Garcia Bronco .22. Very interesting little single shot pee shooter. http://i1367.photobucket.com/albums/r792/dhardi79/GarciaBronco_zpsf8150f8d.jpg http://i1367.photobucket.com/albums/r792/dhardi79/GarciaBronco1_zps0220974c.jpg http://i1367.photobucket.com/al...
