MCM,

that knife looks good, but I'd be leary about the stainless pinned construction. I prefer having pivot adjustment myself.

Caly 3.5 SB takes the win for me. Sure zdP knives come very sharp, they take a ton more effort to resharpen then Super Blue.

My Gayle Bradley was also wicked sharp.

I have a tungesten ring inlayed with texalium in silver. Very sharp. I like it! Its a neat look.

Also, on a one of the sailboats I race on, we use kevlar & carbon sails woven together. You end up with a dark golden color. I think it looks beautiful.

Scales are negligible for me! Just seeing another wicked slicer super-blue blade would be great for me and a positive purchase. The Deacon - as long as your not chopping apart acidic things or food all the time, I don't see the problem of a non-stainless. Just keep it clean, dry and lubed up. It wil...

I'm gonna take the easy way out of this question...the best combo is a Ladybug and ________. I've become a true believer of the Ladybug's awesomeness, so to me it doesn't get much better than a Ladybug and your primary EDC. The best part is if you carry it on your keys, you'll always have a backup ...

Great reply and thanks for explaining that, Mr. Janich.

Hope a trainer comes along. I really am enjoying my Yo2 so far. (Short experience).

Question for you Mr. Janich; Do you edc your own designs ie Ronin/Yojimbo or your custom Endura's more often? :)

Hey Syphen, I got crazy one day and orderd a set of Naniwa Chosera so I got the 400, 1000, 5000, and a 10000. I'm not sure if you ordered the Chosera or the Super Stones. I haven't pulled them out in a while now been lazy but they work great, just have to soak them first. They are a little on the s...

Love my GB!!

My only complaint is the lack of a cut out to make unlocking the blade a little easier.. I understand why the knife was designed like this however.. To ensure no accidental closing from over-tight grip.

Love the blade ! Everything about it. The grind, shape, steel. Its perfect.

Just ordered some new stones

Ordered a Naniwa 5000, 8000 and 12000. It's for a straight razor I have.. But I should be able to mirror hone my spydies with them too! Excited. Also have a hone lapping plate DMT 325.

Anyone ever go up to these levels on a spydie?

Wood or Ti. I don't find bolstered jigged bone aesthetic.. Which has kept me from buying a Damascus delica. I dont even like bolstering at all really.
