I'll echo apollo's statement above about not selling off your collection if you loose interest for a while. I made the mistake of getting rid of a very rare collection of 1994-1998 knives. Gave them away and sold a few for nothing. Live and learn.

No. 8 cast iron skillet at 10 5/8 inches wide is my everyday go to for cooking. I use it for frying okra, chicken & potatoes to French toast, cornbread and salmon. No other cook wear comes close to cast iron.

Is Blade Forums a better site to sell and or buy than USN? I hate that I can't see what USN's site has and am hesitant to buy a membership. Thanks.

I've got a basic KME system and really like how easy it is to use considering my novice skills. I do have a Sharpmaker for touch ups. My question to those experienced with the KME system is what diamond hone would be best to buy first? Or will I eventually need a set of many different grits?

I got the privilege of handling this knife on Saturday. The inlay made it stand out big time on the Spyder lineup of knives they had on the table no doubt. The S90V sweetens the deal for me. It was extra smooth on the open and close action.

I didn’t get a Spyder name tag, but will be on the floor tomorrow! Hope everyone leaves broke but happy!
