Re: Neck Knives? Good or Bad?

Paracord has always been my go to. It is cheap and easily replaceable. Ball chain chords are not he most comfortable to me. The key is a thin lightweight knife and preferably kydex sheath.

Re: What's on your keychain, besides keys?

I have an Atwood Ragman hook on my keys. This thing deep clips to your pocket and allows for easy access to your keys. No digging around in your pockets. I’ve had this thing on for several years now.

Re: EDC prybar

I have my prybar out everyday for some task. They are as fun to collect as knives to me. With so many available in any price range, it’s worth trying one out. I personally carry mine in my back pocket.

Re: Neck Knives? Good or Bad?

I swear by a neck knife when i go fishing. It is the handiest way to always have a quick blade when you always seem to have your hands full. Any other day, it is a Spydie clipped in my pocket.

Does anyone know where the Tom Krein regrind Great Eastern Cutlery's are sold? I've always wanted to get one, but never quick enough when one comes up on the secondary market.

Re: Congrats Spyderco!

The new Para2 handle materials/textures/designs in the prototype case were really awesome and caught my eye right off the bat. The best I remember they were labeled water, hourglass, leather, tortoise. I got to hold one of the new Para2 blade shape models, gave the blade a slight tactical feel to me...

Re: When / where was the first time you heard of or saw a spyderco?

I first found out about Spyderco in Tactical Knives Magazine back in the mid-90's. Before the internet, that was all I had to see new knives and read up on what was out there.

Re: The Species ( or type) Of Spyder That Hooked You?

In 1997 I bought a C10SAF Endura with the black oxide blade, serrated. Ordered it out of a catalog by sending them a money order. Two weeks later I got the knife, not this two day and it is in your hand like today's world. I had wanted a knife with a clip so badly and this one set me up to buying ma...

Re: Easy knife sharpener for beginner

Get a KME and Sharpmaker. Both are easy to get the hang of. Sharpmaker for maintenance and KME for duller blades. It will save you so much time and frustration. Plus there are plenty of videos online for both.

I had a Benchmade Panther and Spyderco Ladybug I carried for somewhere around 10+ years back in the 90's. Now a days I have several Delica and PM3 models that end up in my pocket each day.
