I've designed two follow up models; 1) a gutted version fr lighter weight and the other has no finger choil. sal What does the gutted version entail? Very interested in seeing both! The chaparral is the best sage model. Change my mind. +1 for a production front flipper. Seems like the upcoming high hollow ground choil-less Shaman would be an excellent candidate. :D

The Shaman can be deployed like a front flipper if you get the angles right.

Ivory G10 or Micarta would be my choice but polished. Ergos are good enough for a secure grip on this slipit, so I think the polished look is more fitting for the Damasteel blade. Also, should be easier to maintain/clean and keeps cost down vs Ti or CF.
