Re: Lefthanded Clip For A Righthander

I highly, highly recommend clips from Ripp's Garage Tech (RGT) for this very reason. He offers a PM2 clip, a universal 3-hole clip, and he is about to release a clip to replace wire clips. All are milled and sit much, much lower than other clips. The in-hand difference is incredible. They're a littl...

What? We're discussing the PM2 Spyderedge that's coming out.

Re: Seeking Endura 4 wave trainer

Good idea to re-contour an standard endura. Do y'all know anyone who has had success doing this? Thanks again for the ideas. I've done it to probably a dozen knives, and I can't say I'd recommend it. It's one thing to do to a knife that you can't get a folding trainer for, but for an Endura, either...

One option is to add a wave to the standard trainer.

The hair dryer isn't going to affect your knife's temper.

Re: 5,000th post Giveaway !!!

I'm in for 213, thanks!!! My favorite part of of the holidays is the family time. People set aside annoyances and do their best to focus on only the best. It's just such a happy time of the year. As I've gotten older, I've come to really appreciate all of the effort my folks put into making sure my ...

Re: Civilian vs slash resistant shirt

Thank you for the very wise advice, Archimedes. Yeah I had a friend who told me the same thing about shotguns. He said to me that all one has to do is show a .12 gauge and let the attacker hear the sound of the slide and that'll scare off anyone. The same guy told me, after looking at various Spyde...

Re: Enuff or Street Beat for concealed EDC carry in pocket

That isn't really the type of carry these fixed blades are made for. Perhaps a Perrin folder or Yojimbo would be a better choice? Pretty much. While I strongly endorse the carry of fixed blades, they work best as a SD option when carried on the belt line. Dropping them into a pocket makes them more...

Re: Spyderhole dimensions: How important?

Perhaps, however, we could get an indication in the catalog of the % the Spydiehole is occluded by the frame? The GB1, Techno, and Southard Flipper, to name a few, all have occluded holes. The hole on the Techno and Southard is 100% uncovered. It is occluded on the lock side, but for a righty, they...

Re: SpydieChef: Jury is still out

I'm starting to think the steel inserts are mostly an unnecessary feature. Something people have come to expect and obviously don't mind paying for but seldom take advantage of. One of my biggest irritations in the knife world is people who think that a Ti framelock HAS to have an insert or it'll w...

Josh at Razor Edge Knives would be my go to. I had him do a couple of edges for me recently and he did fantastic work. Lots of forum members have been happy with his work. Google him and you'll find his site.
