Similar models.....hmmm....in backlock. Try the classics in different steels; like the Delica or Endura in ZDP 189....

Re: Urban K390

Hi Brian, you will love this steel. For now it is my most favorite steel. You should try a larger knife like the Police 4, it will not disappoint you. K390 allows to be reground in much steeper angle without chipping or rolling with an amazing edge retention and an accepting rust/staining resistance...

Re: PM2 issues

At this moment I have 5 PM2's and appreciate them more and more. Couple of regular, couple of sprint. I also have the brown S35VN. Warm water, detergent and a toothbrush can solve opening and closing issues. Under the running watertap, brushing it out and give it a good rinse. Is you blade centered ...

Re: More Spyderco ATS-34: Yes or No?

Nope, I would skip ATS34 or 154CM in these times of K390, S90V and M4......nothing special about anymore.

Re: How do they get it so sharp?

Like Darby said, keep practicing. Try ceramic and diamond plates, stones and rods. Different steels react all in the own way different sharpening mediums. If you can afford a system where you can rig your knife in like a Wicked Edge, get it. That makes sharpening much easier. Let the stones in a pr...

Re: NewSpyderBie

Hi there! I've just entered this forum to learn a lot from you all! I was introduced to the 'bug' and liked it a lot. Then I started with Slysz Bowie (for camping) due to super sales man @NickShabazz :) Then quickly after that I acquired also the Caly3.5 and the Chapparal and the tri-angle-sharpmak...

I would prefer X-acto because the blades are flexible and thinner. Especially in cutting curves.

Re: Controversial Spyderco Military Issue: All feedback welcomed!

Hi SEF, I am also curious about the older ones. Back in 1997 I owned one of the first Millies in S60V but I lost it. I can not remember that it was thicker than my current Millies. After that lost one I purchased multiple Millies and PMs (1 & 2). I never experienced and issues with a thin blade ...

Re: Spyderco 2017 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming

I'm somewhat disappointed we've only seen 4 new Spyderco knife models so far in December 2017. Last December 2016 there were 14 new Spyderco knife models. This is magnified by the fact that come January 1, 2018 street prices will go up by at least 8.33% just due to the change to the MAP discount of...
