That's just the Seconds Sale. Add in all the Mule drops and I'm over 20 for the year, as usual.

Re: Endura date history questions for Sal or Spyderco Rep/Expert

I don't see anything worth replacing the blade over. I gave one like that to my girlfriend for yardwork years ago. It was usually packed full of mud to the point it couldn't be closed, but she'd still be using it. I don't know if actual GIN-1 is still available, but Carpenter has updated versions th...

Re: "Talkin' Story" with Mr. Sal Glesser

Transported from Bladeforums: Talkin' Story; It's more than just another Mule Team. Gail and I have been playing around with ceramic stones and even ceramic knives for a long time. We did extensive testing with Kyocera Ceramic knives. Mostly Kitchen knives. We've tested USA made ceramic knives, divi...

Re: Need info about this knife.

Tom does great work, but it seems to me the SS Endura came drilled and tapped for RHTU or RHTD from the factory before the Gen4 went 4-way.

I still have a ZDP-189 Endura that Tom did for me before he started putting the "Krein Regrind" logo on.

But when you snap the blade putting on handle scales (see the ZDP-189 Mule) they do stand behind it.

Re: GP knives Manix exclusive

I've been whittling some hard wood with a REX45 Native Chief and I've been very pleased with it. I don't know how it would stand up to being batoned through a car with a hammer, but it stands up well to my use.

I'd like to get two, but I'll settle for picking up a factory second later if I have to.

I would suggest doing your shopping before the drop. Add the Mule(s) and head for the checkout. That's how I've done it for years.

$150 each isn't as bad as I feared. Probably have to grab a pair if they'll let me.

Yeah, but he didn't say he found red Locktite, only that it kicked his butt for two months.

Re: Experience/Opinion on Skiff FingerBit?

I thought Spyderco stopped using red loctite years ago?? I've probably taken apart a good 30 Spyderco knives over the past 6 years for one reason or another and have never encountered red loctite. I can't imagine them switching back to it now, that wouldn't make sense after all the complaints they ...

Re: A Deeper Investigation into Spyderco Diamond vs cBN: Which is better?! Why!?

I did purchase both. No scientific testing, just an old man who has freehanded for almost 60 years. The first project was taking a new K390 serrated Police4 from 20° down to 15°. I started with the CBN rods, then switched to the diamonds. I found the diamond rods cut a little faster and left a coars...

Thank you for sharing your experience, JRinFL. It would be most helpful, whenever you're able, to share a link directly to the products on eBay. With links, we can take action. Without them, unfortunately, our options are limited. As always, we appreciate your support! Kristi And I have another one...

I have enjoyed both seasons. It's nice that they found someone the proper size to portray Jack Reacher. I thought the main bad guy got off too easy, though.

Re: SPYDERCO EDGE ANGLE GUIDE

It was an interesting idea, actually a guage rather than a guide. Back when my eyes were younger I could use it, more or less. These days, I'd need four hands to hold the knife, the guage, a loupe and a flashlight. As I recall, they made one run and lost money on it. Then the person who had the orig...
